    3 hours with @optimum @OptimumHelp and I was told that I will be charged for phone service that I am not currently receiving unless I call to disconnect the service.

    @OptimumHelp Service outages happen in a storm. They shouldn’t (especially for $200+ a month) but they do. What’s unexpected is to try to reach a provider during said outage and be hung up on. Thanks for finally tweeting on issue - but we still await an apology and for you to make this right.

    Hey @optimum terrible customer service today. A truck took out the drop to my house, so there is no service. Just got off the phone with a rep, he said somebody came to the house at 3:30 and left bc nobody answered the phone (because there's no service). No door knock. 1/

    @OptimumHelp @bigelow_daphne Useless to tell us that when we can’t use the computer to see it. Honestly I had service through out the storm and I don’t understand why at about 9pm I have no service and no way to get answers or an update. My bill goes up every month but the service is always terrible

    @OptimumHelp Unable to get anyone on phone & online chat. Lost service Tues. power never went out, PSEG has taken fallen trees/repaired lines, power restored. Have yet to see a single @optimum van in the area! Shameful, I work from home and this is affecting my lively hood!

    @OptimumHelp my experience in the chat feature since monday has been horrible! All your employees know how to say is “there is an outage in your area” (there wasn’t) took 3 chats since monday to get a troubleshoot and find out there’s a network problem and get a tech visit appt.

    @optimum @OptimumHelp been on hold for an hour and 57 minutes only to get disconnected…you guys are the absolutely worst. I’m trying to spend money here you’d think you’d have your crap together. Why in the world do I need a specialist to add a channel? Why can’t I do it online?

    .@optimum needs to start using some damn lube. $80 for a tech visit to add an additional box, and the guy on the phone needed to put me on hold 4 times. 15min for what should have been a 2min conversation.

    @optimum I will never return to Optimum. Everything is geared towards profit and little towards customer service. After dealing with the local store, offshore cust support and executive customer relations, it is clear that this mentality is woven throughout the entire organization.

    OK @optimum — help me understand this. Chat (after logging in): “You must call to get a Port Code.” Call support: Refused to help and hung up. Store visit: Gave my phone number and got the Port Code email instantly. No ID check. No name verification. Make this make sense.

    Welp only manage to go for an hour and 40 minutes because @Optimum gaslit me into thinking my internet was fine. I test it at 6pm and got about 660 down and 18 up. An hour and a half later I'm getting 1000+ ping every 10 seconds on Overwatch
