    It is Day 2 with #optimum still down. Heard strange noises from beyond my bedroom door only to realize that it was my daughter's voice asking me if I was okay (I knew that noise sounded familiar). It could be worse, I could have been in devastated #Alabama.

    @OptimumHelp there are a lot of us without any service in Croton. The automated number tells us there’s an outage in our area but they won’t give us an estimate for when we will have it back.

    Saw a claim that the #optimum outage may be storm-related. Those wild 15-MPH wind gusts will get ya every time. Presumably, cable is also down in Alabama.

    What a joke @optimum is! Won’t give credits cause you don’t call problem in... wait time over 45 minutes. Saturday go to store to get new router even after I told phone tech that was not the problem. Internet and phone have gone out multiple times still UGH

    One I get gift card I’m going back to @optimum . You can’t claim you’re 5G internet is good as cable when connection for smart home is terrible, mind you you’re gateway an on window sill with “excellent” signal.

    @OptimumHelp @optimum Well online chat doesn’t work. Call the customer service line and I get hanged up on since I use speakerphone and they say that’s against company policy. Going to the store tomorrow to cancel.

    WARNING: if you are considering @optimum @optimumonline for your internet service, don't. They are a dishonest company that scams its customers, falsely telling them they can lower their costs by opening a "free" mobile line. It's not free. You cancel the service. They still demand payment. Outrageous.
