Was wondering why UNIT (Unity Group) was down almost 8% today. It's because of a merger with Windstream. Each share of legacy UNIT will get 0.6029 shares of new UNIT. So the stock currently trading as UNIT is really the combined legacy Unity + Windstream.

Kinetic Windstream absolutely horrible 24 hours after losing power and phone service still not up no updates no expected repair time. @DukeEnergy had their power back on 14 hours ago a tree fell not rocket science the worst telecommunications company in the country.

I am getting completely fed up with Spectrum Business. Another contractor, laying fiber optic for Windstream, cut my fiber optic cable. He said they asked Spectrum to mark their lines, but they never did. I depend on my business fiber optic. (1)

I switched and it costs $120 a month. Verizon supports too many lefty causes. Windstream sucks. Hughes not as dependable and cost more in the long run.
