Was wondering why UNIT (Unity Group) was down almost 8% today. It's because of a merger with Windstream. Each share of legacy UNIT will get 0.6029 shares of new UNIT. So the stock currently trading as UNIT is really the combined legacy Unity + Windstream.

Called Windstream/Kinetic today to again report the outage from yesterday’s storm and according to them, there isn’t one.. yet there is and our whole road is out. We have no other internet options here and @GoKineticFiber ******* sucks

@Windstream phone service sucks…my sister has constant problems with their software and she can go days and suddenly they fix it…last time there was a computer error nobody caught on their servers…. phone service that works 80% of the…what’s going on with your servers?

@captainpisslord @synblinkerfluid I took a gamble. Windstream was always awful with DSL service, but their fiber is mint. I don’t use any of their equipment except their ONT and bought a business class router and network switches to wire everything with a port. Use a mesh network as well. It’s nice.
