Previous owner had run google fiber to my 4 year old's bedroom and I wanted to move it to my office (same floor, next room over) "I can't do it because we aren't allowed to run a conduit" This is the tallest point in the attic, it's a total of only 28 feet away on ground, add another 8 feet to go down the wall, you can't run 36 feet of cord?!? What the actual ****? "This was done by our old team, we don't do things like this anymore" Great so what would you have done if google fiber had not been here for the previous owner? "We would've had the exterior cable team out to and the underground wire team out to run the box to the other side of the house and then up the side of the house and popped it in through the exterior wall" ....so you would've have 3 different teams have to come out? "Yes sir" Now I'm calling my LV company and asking them to squeeze in coming out to drop a ******* conduit where I want it in my office ASAP so I can reschedule @googlefiber coming out to complete the job they're too incompetent to complete. JFC @ATT get off your *** and start running fiber now! Roll out 5/5 and 8/8 speeds bc that's what google fiber is working on rolling out. You're losing my business as my ISP and despite it being a pain in the *** bc they can't do their job, I'm switching to google fiber whenever I get the job site ready for them
