Hopefully we can deliver this benefit soon!

Jeff Brooks (@DE_JeffB) reported from Raleigh, North Carolina@2001grad312 @DukeEnergy If you are referring to the outage in Yadkin currently affecting 1,094 customers, it was caused by vegetation that fell on the power line and is estimated to be restored by midnight or sooner. We had some pretty nasty thunderstorms roll through the region today unfortunately.

Each told me to call @DukeEnergy . They came out, said it was my responsibility. #stuck Guess they’d rather fix it after a storm than prevent.

We found storm damage on our power line that required an immediate repair today. We did our best to send calls to affected customers and get the word out through media. I know that there were both main lines and individual service lines that had to be repaired. A lot of damage in that area. Estimated time of restoration is listed as 10:00 p.m.
