-
Woody Woodall (@WoodyWoodall639) reported@Disney4Eternity @ForwardCarolina @DukeEnergy Good they hate you!
-
Chris Britton (@cbritton99) reportedIf you didn't already know this, @DukeEnergy is not in the business of helping ANYONE out when in need. I had an issue that was out of my control last month and consumed double the amount of energy, to which I wasn't aware, and Duke basically told me to **** off when I called.
-
Keep Smiling (@timeflies42) reported@JenAgainDoh @will_doran @DukeEnergy Yes, Rep got us here. In 2025, the R majority legislature voted to let Duke Energy delay planned carbon-emissions reductions &also allow it to charge customers for new power plants before they’re built, even if never completed, shifting the risks from stockholders to customers.
-
JJ Om (@JJOmOpinions) reported@NYSE @DukeEnergy Question for #WallStreet: why would anyone want to invest in a market that is constantly volatile, and way too dynamic? Its so fickle that every little headline causes volatility! How can the best stock market in the world be this volatile and fickle that its always pulled down?
-
chip orben (@riisorben) reported@DukeEnergy I reported this light out in September 2025, a follow email was sent to explain they needed to order parts but they would keep the work order open. So it still sits out and no additional follow up. Located at corner of Peregrine and Kestrel Ct in Columbus IN. Please help.
-
SS (@ss_scmb) reportedDear @DukeEnergy No I will not turn my heat down to conserve energy. You have hit us for increase after increase to cover the cost for all the data centers and now you want to threaten me with rolling blackouts in 23 degree weather.
-
Market Vision (@MarketVisionhq) reported@chicfryrice @DukeEnergy just charges whatever they want to.. It's ridiculous. Solar power is in the near future..
-
Sisqo Jackson (@MrSamRivers) reportedFix your ******* app @DukeEnergy
-
Steelballa holla shotcalla 4 da dolla balla (@steelballa) reported@ForwardCarolina @dfkenn @DukeEnergy Not only the cost but the amount of red tape is damn insane
-
GameorGrift (@GameorGrift) reportedDear @DukeEnergy Have you retards lost your goddamn minds!? I'm disabled, I make $1110 every month on disability. What kind of drugs are you smoking to try and charge me $1102.05 for your "Year end balance" bullshit and not offering any kind of payment plan or resources to help absorb that impact? I'm already doing EVERYTHING I can do to Fundraise on our #GivesendGo we have Pinned on our profile. There is an absolutely ZERO percent chance that you will get this money by the 13th. It takes a special kind of ****** company to send a bill out less than a month in advance and ask for more than 5x our monthly payment amount from a disabled person who only makes 8 ******* dollars more than you're asking for, and then REFUSE to let them make any kind of payment plans/installments. This is absolutely disgusting behavior.
-
Cinci Chick (@annie1970) reported@DukeEnergy How is it legal that our local cities can opt us into an aggregate program and we have to opt out the energy is in our name and they should not be allowed to change it . Then you charge an extra fee and it doesn’t save us At all
-
C O (@bbn_expat) reported@DukeEnergy Is that why my power has been out 4 times today? Trash provider. Can't wait for my battery bank to be built.
-
Kirch (@kirchtrades) reportedA 250% increase in electric is normal?!? WTF!!! @DukeEnergy
-
B. Vance (@thecountyvance) reported@DukeEnergy The message had the details. Your site is still down. This is the time of month that we get our bills and want to pay them. We can’t view or pay our bills because your app is down. Direct log into the Duke site is also down.Maybe spend some of that overcharging money on good tech
-
🏁🏴🍺 (@JustWannaBeer) reported@ForwardCarolina @DukeEnergy Honestly, if I thought for one second they'd incentivize cutting back, I'd think about it. But it's not like I'm getting a discount or anything, so they can **** right off.
-
Jackie Harrison (@Cupcake50Jh) reported@DukeEnergy @FERC you refuse to fix the issue and instead take advantage of your position as the only electricity provider in North Carolina. Consumers are left at your mercy, and that power is being abused by forcing people to pay for charges they cannot justify or understand. @ferc
-
GORKEM TOLAN (@GTBlackEagle) reported@DukeEnergy thank you for all incompetent customer service
-
NVIDIA Velazquez (@of_arbys) reported@JigarShahDC @DukeEnergy Right I assume Duke Energy is happy with the arrangement that lets them maintain scarcity. I hate the regulated utility model.
-
HiMyNameIs (@_Hi_My_Name_Is) reported@DukeEnergy your infrastructure sucks! When the slightest bit of rain passes, the lights flicker and loss of power, this shouldn’t be. Customers should have excellent service, especially at the rates you charge your customers. #crooks
-
Bula Boyz Ⓥ (@yourlegalplug) reportedIf you or somebody you know works on the back end software side of Duke Energy account services please DM me. I’ve had an account issue for over two years that nobody can figure out. @DukeEnergy
-
Reg🔁Independent (@BobSavi9) reported@DukeEnergy @BkSherm1 Emergency heating as opposed to normal?
-
The BEASTWRANGLER (@crankertweaker) reportedJust got off the phone with Duke Energy. Again! My bill's climbing faster than my hopes for an NFL team in my state. Asked to disconnect surge protection after it failed to save my wallet from a lightning strike worth $40K last year. Their response? "Thanks for being a Duke customer." Really? What am I supposed to say? "Thank you for monopolizing my electric misery?" At this point, I’m convinced their business model is shock therapy for our wallets. No wonder they posted FIVE (5) BILLION dollars profit last year. Keep those data centers coming. As well as being in bed with all of the States Public Utility Commission that regulate them #DukeEnergy #OnlyGameInTown #PowerlessInEverySense
-
NC Physicist (@NC_Physicist) reported@ForwardCarolina @DukeEnergy Embarrassingly dishonest weasel words. Duke Power has only ever had one rolling blackout ever, so you chose the word "recently". While California is famous for rolling blackouts. Argue your side, but at least do it honestly.
-
Jarlenafan (@Jarlenafan) reported@ForwardCarolina @DukeEnergy I agree 💯. I am so tired of funding the corporations and getting nothing back for my money. My prices keep going up while the rich reap the benefits. But I’m still avoiding using power this morning hoping to avoid a power outage.
-
Lars (@Findurwngz) reported@js3kbullies @DukeEnergy lol 5 Bs is crazy granted it’s like 20 states worth of power but still PROFITS?? Isn’t duke the biggest privatized energy thing or something?
-
Jackie Harrison (@Cupcake50Jh) reported@DukeEnergy You company need to be investigated This is clearly not an isolated issue, as many customers are reporting the same problem. How is that possible? It’s time for oversight and investigation by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission into these billing practices.@FERC
-
NC Physicist (@NC_Physicist) reported@ForwardCarolina @DukeEnergy Allow data centers companies to get into the power generation business. They get their power, our electrical grid gets fortified, and we all get the technological benefit and tax revenue.
-
Chad Daughtridge (@ChadDaught72567) reported@DukeEnergy Definitely need to do better! When you physically make it a point to shut off devices and use less and you still can't really a tell a difference from the previous insane bill, there's a problem on Duke's end...💯
-
twistdwop (@twistdwop36) reported@DukeEnergy @FortuneMagazine Obviously they didn’t ask any of your customers that are forced to use your crap service.
