    .@DukeEnergy it is amazing to me that the same 600 homes/offices in Matthews keep loosing power?…and that it takes so long to fix? Power out since 4am? Supposed to be fixed by 8:00am cmon man!

    @wxbrad @DukeEnergy Especially when there’s no room on Lake Norman after we had such a dry spell. It looks like they were really unprepared even though we have been warned about this storm for a while, they kept Norman full. Frustrating.

    @DukeEnergy barged into my brand new house a day before Thanksgiving without proper notice to cut a huge tree in my yard. They left huge tree limbs laying all over the place. I called several times since but no response or help. They ruined my holidays. #EndDukeMafia

    @CharlotteDOT @DukeEnergy not sure who's responsibility it is to mow the grass in front of the sub-station at the intersection of Kenilworth & Ordermore in Dilworth, but it's become a traffic hazard. Can't see vehicles traveling down Kenilworth from Ordermore. Please address

    @DukeEnergy Did a pole on my fb account & I have friends that pay on line & get paper bills. So Lavar absolutely spoke mistruths & seemingly kept me on hold on purpose.

    Last thing about @NC_Governor and @DukeEnergy today… Cooper is offering Duke “assistance,” aka money, which they do not need. Is the state giving money to restaurants and stores that were not able to open today because Duke chose to not turn the power on?

    @kgarciadumont The same thing happened with @DukeEnergy during Hurricane Matthew in 2016. There were multiple documented cases of union crews being told to turn around and go back home because Duke Energy didn't want to pay up. The sure give their execs big bonuses every year, though.

In 2025, the R majority legislature voted to let Duke Energy delay planned carbon-emissions reductions &also allow it to charge customers for new power plants before they’re built, even if never completed, shifting the risks from stockholders to customers.

    @DukeEnergy kinda funny how not only does your energy costs per watt keep increasing every month, but so does your number of outages in my area. How weak is your infrastructure if one car can take out 1500+ customers for 5+ hours. Mind you this has become a monthly thing near me
