@DukeEnergy Duke Energy really has the worst customer service. Lied to me about having a pending payment then charge my account twice then making me wait 10 days for a refund.

Ill bet I’d @DukeEnergy had to credit everyone every stinking time the power went out, they’d fix that crap in a hurry. >:|

  • TheReadPile
The Read Pile (@TheReadPile) reported from Altamonte Springs, Florida

Dawn of the 4th day. Still no power yet, but the parking lot is no longer flooded. All we need is for @DukeEnergy to do their thing. ETA is no later than 11:59pm tonight. But that could change or get delayed. We are totally safe and totally fine, just no power.

@DukeEnergy And again, help me understand how you can have four trucks at a softball field right down the road making repairs instead of repairing the power to our HOMES?!?! @WESH @WFTV

  • AprilMacK22
April MacKenzie (@AprilMacK22) reported from Altamonte Springs, Florida

@DukeEnergy or maybe @WFTV or @WESH can explain how a softball complex takes precedence over an apartment complex for repairs. 9/10 of my complex has power but my building and about 4 others don’t. Please explain. Thanks

  • thecountyvance
    B. Vance (@thecountyvance) reported

@DukeEnergy I have no direct message access on X. Forward this message to whoever’s responsible for your tech support. This isn’t difficult, I can’t believe an energy company has such poor tech support. That’s concerning.

  • Marsha_33
    Marsha Marsha (@Marsha_33) reported

@DukeEnergy 🖕 I pay more money for electricity than I do rent and you can kiss my ******* ***, I’m going to run the hell out of my power tomorrow during the hours 5 am to 9:00 am

@ForwardCarolina @DukeEnergy Our power‘s been off since seven this morning, almost exactly when they said it could shut off. It was 3° out and now the house is 60°. Thank goodness for my insulation!

  • Smooshkas
    Smooshkas🐢🦕 (@Smooshkas) reported

So let me get this straight, @DukeEnergy just had a $5B record profit quarter, but they want the customers to pay 17% more for their energy to pay for data center energy use? **** that. Whomever owns the data centers need to pay their own utility bills. We’re tapped out.

  • annie1970
    Cinci Chick (@annie1970) reported

@DukeEnergy How is it legal that our local cities can opt us into an aggregate program and we have to opt out the energy is in our name and they should not be allowed to change it . Then you charge an extra fee and it doesn’t save us At all

  • deputydogblitzn
    deputydog357 (@deputydogblitzn) reported

Is this inflationary pressure, or the direct effect of conflict? I don’t have a big house (2700sq ft) and my bill has been within $115-135 a month for Gas and Power (Electricity) and look at this month. Gas is used for heating & hot water heater. My home always stays at 65 degrees Fahrenheit in day & 62 at night. @DukeEnergy @PiedmontNG what’s the reason of this hike?
