@CenturyLink my internet is still down, day 3. Yesterday your Tech never came, even though I waited from 8am to 7:30pm. I was promised a call back when another Tech would come, but nothing. To be blunt your customer service sucks.

@CoxComm WHAT A JOKE!! WE DON'T NEED YOUR SHITTY INTERMITTENT SERVICE FOR $99 a Month!! Here we go again!! It's all over Nextdoor this morning. Cox has been down for two nights in a row!! AT&T and Centurylink get ready for the deluge of people wanting to #DROPCOX

  • TheTeege2
Ya Boi Teege (@TheTeege2) reported from North Las Vegas, Nevada

For this whole “internet is essential” thing I keep seeing is a load of bullshit. Cox can’t install, centurylink doesn’t have a free terminal in my neighborhood, god damn Satellite Internet is full too. So legit just waiting for NV to let @CoxHelp install, which is TBD. It’s lit.

  • catphishdaddy
Trap House Dad (@catphishdaddy) reported from Las Vegas, Nevada

@CenturyLinkHelp Thanks, Austin. Your service ******* sucks. It’s always sucked. I don’t know how you can help, but you can try! But I will also continue to ******* drag your **** company every time you let me down, which seems to be multiple times a day.

I had Centurylink a couple years ago, 3 days later I went back. It was like dial up. To be fair, I hear their Gig service is cool but it’s not available in my neighborhood.

  • dagoto19
DG AL (@dagoto19) reported from Las Vegas, Nevada

@Yaaasssuko Depending on your area Gigablast is not on a fiber network so you're still subject to the limitations of their cable network. Tbh if CenturyLink had fiber in my area I'd switch in a heartbeat. It costs 65 a month for fiber compared to 100+ for Cox.

  • theboldone82_
Jeffrey (@theboldone82_) reported from Las Vegas, Nevada

I can't wait to drop @CenturyLink. My internet is down and I can't get any help. "Thank you" for the "great customer service".

  • artofjasonwulf
Jason Wulf (@artofjasonwulf) reported from North Las Vegas, Nevada

@CenturyLinkHelp Sent. And please don’t send more automated messages. Everything has been power cycled and hard reset and went through the direct link GUI ip check. We figured the problem is definitely outside and something a tech would need to do to check the line.

  • missginaface
Gina ✨✨✨ (@missginaface) reported from Sunrise Manor, Nevada

@CenturyLinkHelp hire some people who actually listen to what your customers are saying. This is the 3rd time one of your reps were extremely unhelpful, and I’m out here paying for a service I can’t even use. So thanks. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

  • JohnEstopellan
ESTO (@JohnEstopellan) reported from Las Vegas, Nevada

@CenturyLinkHelp Hi Jessica so you must know that @coxbusiness is down again cause it’s a trash company so I would like to know how much it would be to switch over to you guys.

  • timjawan

@CenturyLinkHelp I had a scheduled appt after the router stopped working. I took time off work, and the tech didn't show. I was told by the call center they are short-handed. So how is that my problem, that is unacceptable.

@lumentechco aka @CenturyLink and @quantumfiber excel in bad customer service. Email to my client says: "Beginning in October 2025, your CenturyLink internet service will be upgraded to Quantum Fiber . . . " Part of the "upgrade" is this: "If you have a value-added service, it will be removed from your account before your internet service moves to Quantum Fiber. Value-added services include Static IP, Personal TechPro, and Inside Wire Protection." Yea, right, removing Static IP etc is an upgrade? Liars.

  • YoJoLo7

@Jeriath27 @Jason91760248 @Starlink I'm surprised by the "there isn't the capacity to serve anyone else in my area charge." The peninsula I live on has a very large low income population of about 70%. I guess they're tired of pretty much the only provider (CenturyLink) of very slow internet on the peninsula

@uwukko If you’re using your ISP’s or carrier’s DNS servers, they can see every domain you look up. ECH doesn’t help with that at all. For ECH to actually hide your destinations, you need the full stack: 1.Encrypted DNS (DoH or DoT) pointed at a third-party resolver like Cloudflare (1.1.1.1), Google (8.8.8.8), Quad9, etc. 2.ECH support in your browser 3.ECH support on the website If any of those are missing, there’s a leak. Using your carrier’s default DNS is the most common gap—they see every query in plaintext, By default, all three major US carriers use their own DNS servers when you’re on their cellular network. Your phone automatically receives the carrier’s DNS server addresses via DHCP when it connects. The major home ISPs use their own DNS servers by default, and queries are unencrypted. Spectrum (Charter), Comcast/Xfinity, AT&T Fiber/Internet, Verizon Fios, Cox, CenturyLink/Lumen. The pattern is universal: ISPs provide their DNS as the default because it’s useful for them.

    WriterInfo.tk (@writerinfo) reported

@lumentechco has exceptionally bright people in customer service. Following is a true exchange on Sep 15, 2025 with a @quantumfiber supervisor after a business gets an email saying the Internet connection will be “upgraded” from @CenturyLink fiber to Quantum Fiber (brands both owned by Lumen). Q: Will the migration from CenturyLink to Quantum Fiber put the account behind CG NAT -- Carrier Grade Network Address Translation? A: No Q: Do you know what CG NAT is? A: No Q: Can I talk to some one who knows about networking? A: Our company does not do networking. Note: The “upgrade” also includes the removal of (and no ability to get back) value-added services, such as static-IP numbers. Lumen CEO: Kate Johnson. She has the uncanny ability to hire smart people. No wonder the stock value is down.

  • LibertyLes83864
    Nutcracker (@LibertyLes83864) reported

@CenturyLink Thanks, Kriti. CS techs were powerless (NOT AI). It was the field techs who canceled every time because the issue was not at the residence. They just didn't notify ME it would take a week. They text my phone to CALL THEM. 100 minutes with the same troubleshooting AI & hang up.

@CenturyLink Hey @quantumfiber @ATT Centurylink says this is your fault. Your tech support keeps telling me it is Centurylink. ATT bought my libes from Centurylink. Att has some type of cap on my fiber service. Care to fix it so I receive the service I pay for?
