    Dear @CenturyLink *stayed home all day Friday waiting on tech. * call to confirm *no one knows who I am and no ticket was put in for my repair * I found out yesterday that I’m a C2E customer, I haven’t a clue what that means. *I’ve been without internet since Wednesday 😡

    @lumentechco has exceptionally bright people in customer service. Following is a true exchange on Sep 15, 2025 with a @quantumfiber supervisor after a business gets an email saying the Internet connection will be “upgraded” from @CenturyLink fiber to Quantum Fiber (brands both owned by Lumen). Q: Will the migration from CenturyLink to Quantum Fiber put the account behind CG NAT -- Carrier Grade Network Translation? A: No Q: Do you know what CG NAT is? A: No Q: Can I talk to some one who knows about networking? A: Our company does not do networking. Note: The “upgrade” also includes the removal of (and no ability to get back) value-added services, such as static-IP numbers. Lumen CEO: Kate Johnson. She has the uncanny ability to hire smart people. No wonder the stock value is down.
