We were “guaranteed” service by 4pm Friday and heard nothing all weekend.. this was also after waiting TWO WEEKS for our appointment.

Following is a true exchange on Sep 15, 2025 with a @quantumfiber supervisor after a business gets an email saying the Internet connection will be “upgraded” from @CenturyLink fiber to Quantum Fiber (brands both owned by Lumen). Q: Will the migration from CenturyLink to Quantum Fiber put the account behind CG NAT -- Carrier Grade Network Translation? A: No Q: Do you know what CG NAT is? A: No Q: Can I talk to some one who knows about networking? A: Our company does not do networking. Note: The “upgrade” also includes the removal of (and no ability to get back) value-added services, such as static-IP numbers. Lumen CEO: Kate Johnson. She has the uncanny ability to hire smart people. No wonder the stock value is down.

When I contacted support, the response was essentially: “the final amount still needs 2 be paid.” No empathy.
