  • OhioBrian
Brian Hoyt (@OhioBrian) reported from Lewis Center, Ohio

@AEPOhio My area’s outage is not shown in the map. But it’s out (two days in a row) and even got a text saying it’s out. If this was on purpose due to construction (Powell Rd) we need a heads up.

  • e_sagle
JustMe (@e_sagle) reported from Gahanna, Ohio

And the power just went out for some reason…. @AEPOhio

  • Kevin10TV
Kevin Landers (@Kevin10TV) reported from Township of Sharon, Ohio

AEP raising electric rates : Due to these rising costs, a typical residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt-hours of energy each month can expect their total bill to increase about 28% from today's typical bill of about $155 to about $198. @AEPOhio

  • LisaG_325
💙Lisa G❤️🏃🏻‍♀️🐶🐕🦬 (@LisaG_325) reported from Township of Mifflin, Ohio

Seriously @AEPOhio You triple my bill (no wonder you have record profits) And still we have random power outages!!!

  • OhioBrian
Brian Hoyt (@OhioBrian) reported from Lewis Center, Ohio

Two days in a row of the power going out in Lewis Center (still not back on yet from today’s outage). And both days sunny, no storms. What is going on, @AEPOhio?!

@AEPOhio 70mph? No one anywhere was reporting 70 mile an hour winds as a possibility. Except AEP Ohio. Nothing like exaggerating by a factor of three in order to cover your ***. Maybe improve the grid. And you wouldn’t have to lie to set expectations for power outages.

  • beth_philley
    Beth Philley (@beth_philley) reported

@limitlessmp3 @AEPOhio If you're not aware, you can go to their website and click on an interactive map to get an approximate time of restoration and possibly a cause for the outage.

  • PACPatriot
    Patriot PAC (@PACPatriot) reported

@AEPOhio No one saw this coming for the picture on the right. @AEPOhio is required to maintain the area around its distribution power lines. That they charge central Ohioans millions for. Totally negligent.

@AEPOhio y’all have been “assessing” my power for six hours.

  • republic_keep
    tara (@republic_keep) reported

@AEPOhio @Th3M00se there are no updates, that's the problem. everywhere you click on the outage map it just says assessing with no ETA. so no crews have reported back? it's been over 12 hrs for me. i get there's a lot but there seems to be a disconnect somewhere.

  • nickellfarm
    Duane Nickell (@nickellfarm) reported

@AEPOhio App crashed. Website crashed. No estimate of power restoration. No routine maintenance of problematic vegetation. Reduced workforce. Historically high transmission charges. Yet my bill is auto paid flawlessly.

@AEPOhio It's 32° out. My electric has been out since 5:00 p.m. yesterday and not one ******* update from you people. And all you guys want to do is raise everybody's rates 🖕
