Brian Hoyt (@OhioBrian) reported from Lewis Center, Ohio@AEPOhio My area’s outage is not shown in the map. But it’s out (two days in a row) and even got a text saying it’s out. If this was on purpose due to construction (Powell Rd) we need a heads up.

BobDole2024 (@dole2024) reported@AEPOhio My power has been out for 41hrs and counting. Multi-day outages without compensation are a regular occurrence. Often times without inclement weather. If I can't choose to go use another power source, how are you not a monopoly? Did we decide that was okay again?
-
Jim Boling (@JimBoling9) reportedNo wind, no rain, nor winter’s cold .. and NO POWER in Ballantrae Dublin @AEPOhio? “Cause unknown” yet you published a restoration time. How can that be?
-
Kimberly (@Kdub4LSU) reported@AEPOhio How do you sign up for alerts if billing is through a 3rd party but service is through AEPOhio? Can’t sign up for alerts without an AEP login. Please advise.
-
Beth Philley (@beth_philley) reported@limitlessmp3 @AEPOhio If you're not aware, you can go to their website and click on an interactive map to get an approximate time of restoration and possibly a cause for the outage.

M K (@MDK_PSU9) reported@AEPOhio I have contacted your company several times in the past about this issue. Was told it would be investigated and I would be followed up with. It’s been six months and still no follow up. Feels futile at this point.
-
Ang (@_chickymonkey) reportedWhy is my power out when the weather is not bad and yet you wanna raise our prices @AEPOhio

mimi¹²⁷ 🧡🤍🩷 xiumarch! (@limitlessmp3) reported@AEPOhio my power’s been out for 16 hours, no eta on when it’ll be fixed, just “assessing” for 16 HOURS. the food in my fridge is spoiled and my alarm system is critically low on battery. can y’all hurry up?
-
Bricklebaum (@TegridyWeed1776) reported@AEPOhio Day 2. Our neighborhood is out while nearly the entire town is back on and lit up. It's ******* freezing. Any chance of an estimate on when we might have power?
-
Pervis Strockweiler (@strockweiler) reported@AEPOhio 70mph? No one anywhere was reporting 70 mile an hour winds as a possibility. Except AEP Ohio. Nothing like exaggerating by a factor of three in order to cover your ***. Maybe improve the grid. And you wouldn’t have to lie to set expectations for power outages.
-
TeeJay Camp (@teejaycamp) reportedHey @AEPOhio why is there a scheduled outage when the temperatures are in single digits at night? Seems pretty stupid.
