You could argue things like roads and public transport are decomodified services or USPS decomodifies postal service to an extent.

USPS said no employees sustained any injuries and mail delivery will not be impacted.”

The estimated delivery is a sham and ESPECIALLY if you’re shipping packages it will take WEEKS.

If the answer is FedEx request an alternate. If they insist on FedEx, don’t order. I’ve been doing this for years because of issues. UPS, USPS or bust.

But in its prime, the USPS was an excellent example of what a government run service like this could provide at cost.

This means that we are also subsidizing every piece of junk mail sent via USPS. Stop subsidizing USPS, raise the stamp price to appropriate levels to stay solvent, problem solved.
