  • pfhreak5000
Mike Yocom (@pfhreak5000) reported from Salt Lake City, Utah

An elephant-headed man in a suit stands next to a model of the USPS headquarters, shouting about government not working. He looks left and right shiftily, whips out a baseball bat, and whales on the model.

Fowler Brown (@Fowler_Brown10) reported from Salt Lake City, Utah

I need @USPS to put up their mission statement in bold letters in all of their buildings across the country. “We pledge to provide the most basic and minimal customer service by ensuring it is viewed as an extreme hassle to all.”

@USPS My package was shipped PRIORITY MAIL back on January 12th with a delivery date of the 15th. It’s now 7:44pm on January 19th and my package hasn’t even left the state it was shipped from... What’s up????

  • senat0rvillegas

@_alex_joshua USPS on all levels is a shitshow right now. I work for another mail service and our center has stopped shipping USPS unless customers are extremely adamant.

@Evolving_Ego Decomodification simply means production of goods or services not for profit, but for appropriate allocation. You could argue things like roads and public transport are decomodified services or USPS decomodifies postal service to an extent.

Dana make Derek SAD☠️🦈🦈☠️ (@Hotwielzz) reported from Salt Lake City, Utah

This card guy is real mature, he says I damaged the cards on purpose is mad I disputed the charge then goes and blocks me, go ahead and slander me to me to your friends man but I have bought from several people and never had issues but telling me to go fight usps is customer srvc

  • BWJones
Bryan William Jones (@BWJones) reported from Salt Lake City, Utah

Reminder: There is no mandate for the United States Postal Service to turn a profit. The USPS is a national service. They are a strategic asset. They are critical infrastructure. Think about it... would you require the US Air Force to turn a profit?

  • senat0rvillegas
Ed 🏕 (@senat0rvillegas) reported from Salt Lake City, Utah

ok I have pretty firsthand knowledge on the shipping industry now so I strongly advise you avoid USPS at all costs right now unless absolutely necessary. The estimated delivery is a sham and ESPECIALLY if you’re shipping packages it will take WEEKS.

@CardPurchaser and community I have a small problem. I bought a card on eBay that was shipped via eBay standard (with the ESU number) tracking says it was delivered but o never received the card. eBay denied my claim because it was “delivered “. I can’t file claim on USPS.

  • elbrochacho13
    Iwantmy2dollars (@elbrochacho13) reported

There’s no cash crisis. The USPS isn’t a business. It’s a public service and we should always fully fund it.

  • CaliforniaRifle
    The California Rifleman (@CaliforniaRifle) reported

The USPS wants ever more money to transport ever less 1st Class mail. Meanwhile, private carriers have seen huge profits in parcel deliveries. Force USPS to compete! Stop hiring unfit DEI employees, fire unproductive, unwilling, and incompetent workers. Focus on customer service!

  • Christy82635445
    Christy Massey (@Christy82635445) reported

@USPS Just another terribly run government entity! You would have the money for your retired employees if agency was run correctly!!!! I would rather pay $20 and go to UPS then deal with your service that never makes where it’s going!!!! Why don’t we just get rid of this Agency???

  • DonivanWarren
    Skye Marigold (She/They) (@DonivanWarren) reported

@moemoe889 @nathans_codes_2 Driving a delivery vehicle to run deliveries is not the same as whatever the hell elon is doing. UPS, FedEx, Amazon, DHL, USPS drivers done drive the delivery fans to and from work

  • BjornL218
    Bjorn Haga (@BjornL218) reported

@ThrillaRilla369 You still have Prime after Same Day Delivery somehow became 5-7 Workinf days maybe, and 50 year old movies with 8-9 commercial breaks while having a sweetheart shipping deal with usps where they ship and costs you nothing and receiving billions in tax dollars for “data centers”

  • 603freedomNH
    ellen west (@603freedomNH) reported

@DarylHerington @WallStreetApes @USPS Husband carrier for 35 years, civil service. Retired 15 years ago, we had to PAY for his military service in Vietnam, 40,000 bucks. If so much as a penny goes, I'll sue.

  • BeesyCee
    Cee Bees 👑 (@BeesyCee) reported

At this point, it feels like like handing over to USPS for the last mile delivery.

  • atRichalds
    A-Aron Richalds (@atRichalds) reported

@WPXI The increase should be far larger than four cents per stamp. US tax taxpayers subsidize the USPS to the tune of billions of dollars a year. This means that we are also subsidizing every piece of junk mail sent via USPS. Stop subsidizing USPS, raise the stamp price to appropriate levels to stay solvent, problem solved.

  • meevalerie
    meevalerie (@meevalerie) reported

@USPSHelp @USPSHelp USPS claims my package was delivered but it was not. The did NOT include a picture of the delivery. On multiple occasions they delivered my pkg to the wrong address. I cannot contact a person with @USPS without going to the post office. OUTRAGEOUS!!!
