@USPS so tired of not getting my mail. Since I have informed delivery, yes I really do know when I’m not getting my mail, like the $250 debit card I received from my employment for good work. Hope whoever actually got it is enjoying it #usps #uspsyousuck #deliverthemailright

To local office. She was told she couldn’t because of Covid. She’s got a baby. Wic had no trouble mailing her stuff. Address is right with USPS. So how do we get her this card? DM is ok 2/2

  • AzlanSalims
Saddam A. Salim (@AzlanSalims) reported from Jefferson, Virginia

The law required the Postal Service to prefund its retirees' health benefits up to the year 2056. This is a $5 billion per year cost. USPS received no taxpayers subsidies.

@RichardGrenell How much money did the military “lose” last year? The USPS is a national service, no different than our military. It should be given the same resources and same respect

@JarOfComics @USPS Completely agree. I have stated that the need to be literate should be a requirement of employment with the postal service too, we regularly have mail go missing or delivered to the wrong address; an address occupied by people who tend to keep that mail. Shocking 🤨

  • AintNikolai
Ain’t Nikolai (@AintNikolai) reported from Annandale, Virginia

@seancannell Create a USPS administered competitor with a basic service for all American citizens with additional services available for a low fee. #USPS_Modernization

  • cefilby
🇺🇸Chris Filby🇺🇸 (@cefilby) reported from Falls Church, Virginia

@BernieSanders The Postal Service #USPS @USPS mandate is broad and complex and overburdened with cost as it is without piling on financial services responsibilities. Even if they were able to then on the add'l load, it is unlikely Congress will allow them to keep most of the profits generated.

📬 USPS Price Hike Coming The U.S. Postal Service plans to raise first-class mail prices from $0.78 to $0.82 starting July 12, a 4.8% increase. USPS says the change will help offset rising transportation and fuel costs. The agency reported a $1.25 billion quarterly loss in February and warns it could run out of cash within a year. Earlier this week, regulators also approved a temporary 8% price increase for Priority Mail, effective April 26.

@MatrixMysteries 20 mph on EVERY street in NYC. Other than the sheer madness this would cause, imagine what it would do to Ubers, cabs, delivery services, Amazon, USPS, UPS, FedEx.

    Rumi (@Rumin1372690) reported

@BellasBodega If you're doing business through USPS it's your job to make sure the package is properly insured for the right dollar amount because all USPS does is destroy packages. The customer needs to take it up with USPS. It's not your problem after you ship it off.

The delay vs. on-time ratio is closing in. And the Amazon orders that ship via USPS are the worst in my experience - jammed into an apartment mailbox or a day or two late. I’m 100% not renewing Prime.

@KeithMalinak @USPS @USPSHelp It took contacting my Senators and Congress reps when I lived in Virginia, our zip code had one of worst delivery issues in country. Our mail routinely bounced back and forth from DC to our zip code prior to delivery.

@name98844 @vjeannek People need to grab ahold of the concept of progress. It's stunning that people who fancy themselves progressive and urbanists shout against delivery robots and Waymo and ending USPS. etc etc. Horse and buggy days are gone. The only constant is change.
