@LauraAnthony7 @ContraCostaCnty @PGE4Me I keep looking for a better resolution map...looks like most of Clayton will be out and all the way thru Morgan Territory to Brentwood.

  • cfusari14
Charlie Fusari (@cfusari14) reported from Alamo, California

@PGE4Me What’s the plan? 30 hours and counting without power during a heat wave and pandemic. Thank you. Why were the crews not working through the night to restore power? Absolutely ridiculous.

  • skiswm
Just Me. (@skiswm) reported from Clayton, California

@martyraider @RobMayeda @PGE4Me It’s there earlier maps showed power on East of roughly Buchanan. Brentwood looked out in most areas around Marsh Creek/Balfour...and Rob a power outage during the 49ers game I imagine many frustrated fans will be voicing their feelings loudly, their viewership is way up again.

  • NesToPROD
Ernesto Campos II (@NesToPROD) reported from Walnut Creek, California

Dear @PGE4Me I need you to discount my monthly service by $5 so I can buy fire extinguishers for the house

  • jayholler
Jay Holler #BLM 📢✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻🏴 (@jayholler) reported from Concord, California

Is @PGE4Me having problems? The last two mornings as I sit here drinking coffee the power to the entire house seemed to cut out momentarily, today it happened a couple times within 2 minutes. Not confidence inspiring.

  • codygoodermote
Cody (@codygoodermote) reported from Walnut Creek, California

@PGE4Me I need help — accidentally processed a stop service for the wrong address.

Power out for the 3rd time today tf? @PGE4Me #pge

  • skiswm
Just Me. (@skiswm) reported from Clayton, California

@RobMayeda @PGE4Me Very true, but if those driving are not prepared it could be an issue. I know @offgridteacher said she saw quite a line of traffic headed up 80 yesterday afternoon. I do like the more targeted PSPS rather than the mass areas last year.

  • hellodrew
Drew Matthews (@hellodrew) reported from Contra Costa Centre, California

Gosh does @PGE4Me love to remind me that if the power goes out it’s not their fault. Multiple phone calls. Like I get it you want me to like you but naw I ain’t got any other choice but you.

  • Cglemonn
Christian Gutierrez (@Cglemonn) reported from Pittsburg, California

Hey @PGE4Me , an even bigger **** you for turning off the power at my moms wedding. Your a shitty company and have killed hundreds of people but punish customers for your actions

  • odotelik
Brett Higham (@odotelik) reported from Walnut Creek, California

@PGE4Me power here…. no power a mile down the road in Moraga. No logic to your shutdown… wind is just as bad here.

  • MissFeliz
Feleciana (@MissFeliz) reported from Walnut Creek, California

I’m tripping so hard RN. Just looked at my @PGE4Me bill and it is $199. 😳 wtf? That’s insane. We’re trapped working at home and it’s cold as **** and my energy bill is $200. Poor. Teacher. #triggered 😪

  • LisaABlackwell
Lisa Blackwell (@LisaABlackwell) reported from Danville, California

Just incredible that @PGE4Me would cut off power during our Shelter In Place in Danville. Our families are already dealing with a high amount of stress doing virtual schooling and work at home and no power for eight hours is extremely upsetting.

  • flycojoe
Joe Field (@flycojoe) reported from Clayton, California

Home now and it’s more than 12 hours without power. Maybe what’s worse the s the silence of @PGE4Me about it. Zero Kline updates. No estimate of power restoration. Major fail.

  • loansbrad
Brad Blackwell (@loansbrad) reported from Danville, California

A tone-deaf @PGE4Me just cut off power for the day to our home and 300 others for a planned outage to do maintenance. This during shelter-in-place cutting off internet to kids who are supposed to be attending virtual classes, warming full freezers and angering local residents.

  • flycojoe
Joe Field (@flycojoe) reported from Clayton, California

Nearly 24 hours since the power went out here. The “best” we can get from @PGE4Me is that a crew has been assigned. The lack of communication is on a par with the loss of power. #PGEfailure

  • alexgiess
Alexandre Giess (@alexgiess) reported from Lafayette, California

Maybe @PGE4Me should go into installing windmills and buried lines so people can get power whenever there is 💨

  • jenks
Lauren Jenkins (@jenks) reported from Danville, California

3rd power outage this week. It’s only Wednesday 🫠 About to go Karen on @PGE4Me

  • hellodrew
Drew Matthews (@hellodrew) reported from Contra Costa Centre, California

If @PGE4Me kills my power during this episode of the masked singer. I swear to…

  • skiswm
Just Me. (@skiswm) reported from Clayton, California

@RobMayeda @PGE4Me Of note US-50 is closed and looks like many I-80 gas stations and typical food stops along the way could be without power tomorrow afternoon. Long drive home from the Sierra for those visitors.

@CAgovernor You cannot be serious. I know @PGE4Me pays you and your wife ungodly sums of money but you've done both but make our energy bills skyrocket and then look for new ways to tax us on any small efficiency gains. You push us to EVs and solar then tax the hell out of us for it.

  • oneartmom
    Kathy (@oneartmom) reported

@PGE4Me Power out in Burlingame area Bill has doubled within a year but when you call you can’t get anybody to find out about a power outage. They just hang up on you or send you into some kind of doom loop do better PG&E.

  • cathshiang
    Catherine Shiang (@cathshiang) reported

The demurrer was denied by the Superior Court judge showing the claims against LADWP has legal basis. What are these claims? Who pays if plaintiffs win? These claims go to negligence in equipment maintenance (something @PGE4Me is at fault for for the city wide Christmas city wide blackout) of water management system From reservoir, water pressure to prioritizing cost cutting over maintenance. Failure to maintain and properly manage their electrical infrastructure, sub transmission lines causing the fire. Not turning off the power. And concealing this fact. And inverse condemnation. Meaning no need to prove fault, only a showing LADWP equipment caused the fire. 👉Of course any damages by LADWP, owned the city of LA, will be borne by their insurance company, and then, sadly from rate hikes to customers, and city taxpayers. So, ironically, customers and taxpayers end up paying for this lawsuit. There should be, instead, personal liability to those decision makers. Up in San Francisco, the current CEO of PGE Sameer Singh should be personally liabile for the Christmas 2025 Blackout. After all his entire career at PG&E was in equipment maintenance and risk prior to his ascension to CEO. He had personal knowledge of the equipment, the sub stations. In Washington DC, similarly the CEO of the 240 million tons of raw sewage spill, caused by the Potomac Interceptor collapse was a known maintenance issue. The CEO of @dcwater David Gadis knew of this interceptor issue. He said flippantly "The scale is one through five. Five being an emergency. A three is fair. So a 3.5, it was fair," he said. "It happened to break on us before we were able to get to it." Either his crew needs a new measuring scale or they measured wrong. The bottom line is these CEOs have direct knowledge and should be personally on the hook whether civil damages and/or criminal negligence.
