We waited over 3 weeks for @nationalgridus to disconnect the service at our Methuen MA location… and now more than 2 weeks waiting for them to put it back. This delay has stopped all our construction work and is putting our move-in at risk. No clear timeline. Shame on you guys!

No power in #MBTS #Massachusetts @mapoli @nationalgrid @nationalgridus 2 days ago alleged transformer issue. Today intermittent. Some works, some doesn’t - if you know to run around and check outlets, etc. No communication. Denial when reported. Thinking of our older friends trying to navigate these uncertainties with no communication. How scary for them.

If gas prices have come down, WHY.THE.FUNK did my National Grid @nationalgridus natural gas bill SKYROCKET, almost double from the same time last year with equivalent usage? Besides the obvious corruption, no scenario makes sense. Anyone?

@WTEN @nationalgridus If National Grids infrastructure is on public lands in municipalities where the those poles are considered public property or on taxable land, why are its customers paying National Grid for infrastructure thats on public space (poles specifically) that ought to be taxed or provides National Grid free space (at no cost) for their network? This begs the conversation of the relationship municipalities have have National Grid and Telcom providers where Telcom providers pay per pole, to have their lines on those same poles. This is where Franchise agreements and what terms were negotiated to have these poles on public lands to host their infrastructure. But were also, NOT going to talk about that either. If National Grid want to have a honest conversation about higher costs, the people need to understand what subsidies and free passes, are already being granted to National Grid. This means local municipalities need to also be transparent in the agreements they have with these sorts of providers where customers are potentially footing parts of a bill that their taxes already paid for in terms of Public Space that Infrastructure resides on. Taxes or Service / Delivery for same infrastructure along with grants, tax incentives that go to the same bottom line. Lets ALL understand the financial aspects of this relationship that exists between customers, infrastructure providers and local municipalities and how ultimately the State government structures this mess with us common folk, paying taxes and these costs that do not benefit the bill payers paying at every level for what ought to be considered: "The cost of doing business" ?
