@SmoreChick Apparently to lose money. I'm not going to pay for Mediacom or some crap just to watch the Cubs. I did with Hulu last year, but not having a stand alone or streaming option (which means cloud DVR) makes this a $80-90/month cost for 7 months. I'm not gonna pay that just to watch.

Starting day 8 with no cable or internet service. @MediacomSupport & @MediacomCable will not give any indication as to when service will be restored. I guess when my payment is late they will be “patient and understanding”.

Just got off the phone with @MediacomSupport - their systems are down and can’t tell me anything. I can tell you something though Mediacom. We’re dealing with another outage and your company is absolute trash.

I've been using my phone as a hotspot since our power line came down on March 5th. Mediacom needs a 2-man crew and two trucks with lifts to repair it. They'll be here March 15th. We're lucky, they said, for new customers they don't install this distance from the road. Ten days.

@tferriss @Verizon @TMobile I live in a tiny beach town with terrible service…we finally got access to TMobile here and I got the home internet, cut my bill by 2/3 and my internet is lightning fast. They shipped the box in 2 days, it took 15 minutes to setup. Before with Mediacom, I’d lose signal constantly in the middle of podcasts. Now I can stream in 4K with no issues.
