Part 1: There is a big debate in @cityofwdm right now as to whether or not the city should be paying for a fiber conduit that will bring internet service competition to the market. It comes at the cost of @googlefiber getting to have exclusive rights for the first 18 months.

@googlefiber We were excited about getting you installed. You sent a guy out to run the line and in the process he cut the line for my current provider. Now we have no internet and when we called customer service, they said "oh well" An installer may or may not come today. WTF?!
