Gas line mystery solved thanks to very helpful @DukeEnergy twitter. Turns out the contractor is sketchy. In a world of communication, they didn't send mail or even leave a door hanger. They said I made an appt for Friday! Obviously not.

@DukeEnergy Yes, escalate this to whoever you need to so Duke will do the proper thing and bury power lines instead of ruining our Great American Landscape.

@DukeEnergy I registered an account for my new home and was passed on to a gentleman who tried to add a few products I was not interested in. He then passed me on to @ADT who were just bashful and rude. Over 30 minutes of phone to get electricity...

. @DukeEnergy getting bad wraps for their mass texts about reducing energy during the cold snap. The message was correct, the LANGUAGE was wrong. Heat pumps take 300+% more energy to go from 35F to 65F than AC takes to go from 95F to 75F… explain it more clearly.

@DukeEnergy you guys are trash. You wanna double everyone’s energy bill for no reason what so ever, and it takes FIVE HOURS to restore power. Get it the hell together. If we pay that much you should actually be able to fix things efficiently.

@JigarShahDC @DukeEnergy AI training is intermittent, but that's just for one AI model. Data centers usually train multiple models in scheduler queues, and don't forget service data centers. They might have traffic variability, but usual computing is there 24x7.
