  The perfect way to end this week? A power cut-off notice from @DukeEnergy .. we moved a few months ago and after half hour on phone, determined our payments were going to the old account. The rep says was either their fault or the bank’s fault, altho neither faced losing power

  @DukeEnergy I just sent you my bill. It was $383 for the month of December. Like I said in the above statement, I have 81 solar panels with five Tesla power walls. I haven’t had a bill this high since before I have solar panels.

In Florida, they wouldn't be in this quandary if they had NOT gone for the quick cash grab in taking Progress Energy's reserves set aside for a planned nuclear power plant in Polk County. 🙄

  @ForwardCarolina @DukeEnergy Don’t forget, as cold as it is right now, the air conditioning in the data centers is running to keep the servers and switches cool, while the excess heat is pumped out into the atmosphere. They can’t just leave the windows open!

  It is believable what some companies will do. My sister is on hospice with terminal cancer and @DukeEnergy shut the power off while doing work in the neighborhood and are refusing to turn it back on. So there is no AC and she has no oxygen that could make her last days/hours more comfortable. Absolutely horrendous!

  @DukeEnergy So why did your employee refuse to trim limbs that were sagging on limbs? Why did he laugh when I told him that one of those limbs caused a sparking line to almost hit me on the sidewalk? Why did he tell me he isn't "a lumberjack"?

  @will_doran This is absolutely insane. NC voters are struggling to pay power bills on top of everything else! My power bill more than doubled over the last 3 months! Last month it was $400.00!!! @DukeEnergy made 5 BILLION in profit last year! THEY OWE US!
