Offshore wind remains the costliest renewable, 2–3 times more expensive than onshore wind or solar.

It would take 8 Nat gas power plants running full cap 24-7 to make 11 billion worth of electricity in 1 year. Now consider how long those have to run to break even. The wind isnt always blowing at full cap.
