    @altafiber What is the problem it’s been out for hours? Will we be getting a credit?

    @GirthBrooks034 @scwatched @Ask_Spectrum It could be both it’s some kind of security protocol that constantly checks your device causing your IP to jump around.. basically impossible to have a stable IP it’s some kind of setting idk I’m not the biggest tech savvy guy but have been experiencing this personally. Apex NEEDS a stable IP or it’s just utter dog **** to play. Sole reason I switched to altafiber and haven’t had a single issue since.

    @altafiber Were not experiencing an “outage.” We’re experiencing the video flickering in-and-out every few seconds on certain channels. The only channel that it’s NOT doing it on is CNN. I don’t watch CNN. Funny.

    Super excited to upgrade to @altafiber Fioptics+ TV service today! I will say, though, I was a little disappointed to learn it won’t be active until 5pm on Monday, though. Surely this provisioning is an automated process and doesn’t require human intervention. 😩

    This aged like milk. It's been so bad. I'm glad Main Street Sports is finally stopping but I hate what it may mean for watching my Cavs and Blue Jackets. @altafiber got my Reds, hopefully they can keep the other two too.

    @altafiber Wow I just want to watch CBS much less soccer and can’t because your service is a joke. I’d probably stop putting your exciting signs bragging about service coming to the neighborhood and wait until it actually works!

    I'm considering getting rid of @altafiber TV. Also have internet with it, which I like. Cost too much, HORRIBLE customer service on chat. Looking for a high quality service to switch to for internet.

    @thebengalorian My only issue with @altafiber is I have to call every month since I got it (3 months now) to get my bill fixed. I was told 70 a month. Each bill has been 90 or more and I've even seen all the billboards for 750 (which I have) for only 45 around. But I've had a lot less issues

    Any friends w/ experience running Ethernet vertically ‘tween floors? Through walls? We live in a bi-level, the AltaFiber port is downstairs. PC is upstairs, & I’m direct in from a router not the gateway. Tried to play Apex & stream - OBS hated it. I was direct in b4 & no issues

    @altafiber Sounds like a cover up…tell us what really happened, who was the tech/engineer that took your service to its knees. Pathetic!

    Be advised: If you have Altafiber, you will probably have to stream tonight’s game unless they fix their outage for sports channels in the next half hour.

    @scwatched @Ask_Spectrum It’s the routers spectrum use my stepdad works for spectrum he said it themselves. It’s a security setting on the router where it’s constantly verifying your connection, hence impossible to have a stable IP. If you have more than 4 devices connected to the router it’ll happen. I called once and a good representative fixed it but then moved houses and had to a get a new router and the problem popped back up. Never could convince another representative to fix it so I switched to altafiber.

    Five days without a dog containment system due to @Altafiber contractors cutting my line. Maybe make it priority to repair damage you cause.

    @theUniverssays @Wrightreportt @altafiber With that said, in the 15+ years I had spectrum/time warner, I think I only had two issues in that time. Maybe I've been lucky on both of those fronts. My experience: If you can get true fiber optics from Altafiber - that's what I'd choose and never think twice about it.

    @altafiber I never thought it would be down a full day. I know you aren’t going to provide an eta for the fix, but can I ask for one anyway? The rates for cable are outrageous for it not to work for this long. What am I paying for?

    ISP shopping. @altafiber Trying to find a list of modems compatible with your service is such a pain in the ***. Even @GetSpectrum makes that easy, and they are a living hell to deal with. Reluctantly I guess I am going back.

    When it rains the internet we have through Altafiber goes in and out. My texts are typically 15 minutes behind from when alerts go out-I know this because my husband now calls to notify me of bad weather.
