They have every benefit of the massive banks but they're nonprofit, have exceptional customer service, and, this mattered, were proactively helpful when I got gay divorced from my USAA connection.

Chase accepting and crediting them is another. Both are passing responsibility instead of owning the reconciliation. File a formal dispute, don't DM support.
