Tldr it appears 911 is down because the routing service Intrada, a backbone for E911, is having issues. It appears this may relate to centurylink having outage issues on its back ones which it is suspected Intrada leases.

ATT bought my libes from Centurylink. Att has some type of cap on my fiber service. Care to fix it so I receive the service I pay for?

Following is a true exchange on Sep 15, 2025 with a @quantumfiber supervisor after a business gets an email saying the Internet connection will be “upgraded” from @CenturyLink fiber to Quantum Fiber (brands both owned by Lumen). Q: Will the migration from CenturyLink to Quantum Fiber put the account behind CG NAT -- Carrier Grade Network Translation? A: No Q: Do you know what CG NAT is? A: No Q: Can I talk to some one who knows about networking? A: Our company does not do networking. Note: The “upgrade” also includes the removal of (and no ability to get back) value-added services, such as static-IP numbers.
