@Micro2Macr0 @WellsFargo @RobinhoodApp its beautiful and a great product. but its a money losing product for them and very nascent, and they don't seem to care about losing a long time customer who has transacted millions on their platform

@GeriPerna @Ask_WellsFargo @WellsFargo Close your account. They’re breaking the law. You are the customer allowing THEM the use of YOUR money, which they greatly benefit from. Stay in your ******* lane, Wells. We didn’t forget the accounts that were opened in people’s names who didn’t request them.

The app for @WellsFargo suggests you immediately contact them if you expect fraud on your account. Still no satisfactory answer! I guess I should not expect much from the company that opened over 1.5 million fake accounts in their customer's names. @SenatorTimScott

@GeriPerna @Ask_WellsFargo @WellsFargo I worked at a Bank a couple years ago. I quickly learned banking didn't fit my moral code bc of things like your example. To answer your question, banks do this because the federal government demands it. Banks are required to monitor your account for suspicious activity and then report it to the proper authorities. If they fail to provide the info or it is found during an investigation that they didn't follow procedures that would have uncovered the issue sooner, the bank is punished.

@WellsFargo is the worst ****** bank in America! They need to be shut down!

In my opinion, quite possibly the worst bank in the history of the world for real people is @Chase They really run you through the wringer if you’re trying to get cash. It’s actually very painful to know you have cash in the bank and they treat you like a criminal when you’re trying to access it. If there was a better option, I would definitely use it. Tried @WellsFargo , @BankofAmerica they are worse IMHO
