    @RobertDolezal They get paid by the carrier that sends them the call. The issue is there are multiple carriers and they are not all in the US. E.g. a call center in the US can sign up for services from a company in the Philippines that buys the minutes from a carrier in Italy that pays Verizon.

    @VerizonSupport .. For the past few days, the Caller ID alerts have not been showing up on the TV .. I’ve run the troubleshooter thru the STB, but the problem persists .. Thanks for your assistance ..

    Any other Google pixel/Verizon users having problems using the messages app? I got a text dump at 11:50 last night of sent messages from contacts who were trying to reach me for hours yesterday. All came through at once.

    @VZWSupport But I found a solution! Set carrier data settings to LTE only. No thanks to Verizon who just couldn’t admit they don’t have 5G yet and tell me to shut it off

    Switched to @Verizon and they been giving me hell ever since 🫠 I thought yall said this was the best service… I feel lied to. Between the run around with customer service, support coaches giving out wrong information, and now my bill is reflected wrong…might as well go back…

    There have been recent phone and network issues reported across the country, depending on your carrier. The largest issue involved a nationwide Verizon outage that also impacted parts of Texas. Users reported phones stuck in “SOS mode” and an inability to make calls, send texts, or use data. At its peak, more than 175,000 users reported problems, with areas like Dallas and Houston among those most affected. Verizon has stated the outage has been resolved. However, the exact cause was not fully explained, though it is believed to have been related to a network or software issue. Smaller outages and service disruptions have continued in some areas. Even after the main outage, some users may still experience issues due to: Network towers recovering or experiencing heavy traffic Devices not fully reconnecting to the network Ongoing regional service interruptions Phones attempting to connect to weak or unstable signals
