@VZWSupport What horrible customer service I have received since Saturday if you can believe it. I cannot even get Manager involvement. What gives😓

  • kjkinney
Kevin Kinney (@kjkinney) reported from West Caldwell, New Jersey

Just a quick follow up. Although I do feel 22 hours is a long time when there are no weather or power issues, @Verizon did show up in full force to fix the neighborhood outage and had a Manager on site to oversee. Thank you @VerizonSupport

  • CreditGuruGG
genedaniel (@CreditGuruGG) reported from Caldwell, New Jersey

@VerizonSupport called and asked for help that your website led me to believe you would be more understanding apparently not just spoke with a rep that said tough. I need help no service no work I only have internet not about tv.

Love when I call fios’s customer service, just to be told to contact the live chat, who then redirects me back to the customer service line... @VerizonSupport

  • A_klein609
Funky Cold Mohanah (@A_klein609) reported from Woodland Park, New Jersey

This is crazy. We spent hours on the phone with @Verizon for them to say they can't fix the internet until next week (not like we have to work or anything). Then they send a car to my neighbors house? This company is a joke.

  • glecharles
Guy LeCharles Gonzalez 😷 (@glecharles) reported from East Orange, New Jersey

FiOS is out, probably the power brick, and the local store can't help. Been in a hellish 20-minute loop w/ automated phone service that keeps hearing something in the background and getting stuck on repeated variations of, "What was that?" 😭 cc: @verizonfios @VerizonSupport

  • GLKCreative
George Koroneos 🗿🍹 (@GLKCreative) reported from Bloomfield, New Jersey

@RichLightShed @WalkingDead_AMC @Verizon Correct. This is completely separate from your Verizon account and you don’t need to be a Verizon customer to get your NFT.

  • akharmony1

@VerizonSupport Fios TV app was working yesterday but today I get an error code. Please help!

  • hoopscritic
Brian Geltzeiler (@hoopscritic) reported from East Hanover, New Jersey

It’s tough to fathom how awful the customer service was @Verizon Rte 10 store in East Hanover. Made me wait an hour to hand me a phone number to replace a damaged phone. Tell all of your friends. They take their customers for granted. Time to explore other options.

  • CreditGuruGG
genedaniel (@CreditGuruGG) reported from Caldwell, New Jersey

@VerizonSupport as I mentioned I have called all of last week and not any day where i spent 45 plus minutes just to get a live person on the line there never was a supervisor on duty. All I understood was the Sanford Florida location has no supervisors.

  • YoItsAbba
Decaf Muslim (@YoItsAbba) reported from Clifton, New Jersey

@VerizonSupport I want to reactivate my service with just the gigabit connection. Was told to do the mix and match plan which can only be done online. Live chat told me only customer service can remove other products

  • themarlinchris
Chris Marlin (@themarlinchris) reported from Glen Ridge, New Jersey

@Xfinity ugh Why does my WiFi crap out five nights a week around 10:30. Seriously you are pushing me back to Fios

  • scottgurian
Far From Home (@scottgurian) reported from Bloomfield, New Jersey

@VerizonSupport Your automated phone system is glitchy and incredibly frustrating. It wanted to reboot my router to fix an internet issue. I asked it not to, and after confirming my request, it did so anyway (twice), knocking my housemate out of an important online meeting!

@VerizonSupport once again, Verizon shows me they don’t give a damn about their customers! Three people told me I’m getting a $20/line discount as a loyalty reward for nearly 24 years with them. The key point - they don’t actually give it to you. Now it’s only $10/line.

  • dkmich
    CastorBean. (@dkmich) reported

@NicHulscher Bull ****. Verizon's map says I have G5. It won't even work in my ******* house. I have to use WIFI to make or receive a phone call. 3 years I've been trying to get a discount. WTF am I paying Verizon for services from my internet. Implant - good w/luck customer service.

  • JuddTaylor
    Judd Taylor (@JuddTaylor) reported

@mom_of_littles @Verizon Verizon stores are awful. Switch to Spectrum and save a bundle. Was paying Verizon around $140 for 2 lines & phones. Did a deal with Spectrum, they paid off the phones, $30 per line, so bill down to $60 per month, plus 2 years of Internet at $30/mo. Cut my internet in half.

  • Whoisballing
    The Millennials (@Whoisballing) reported

@GOATzievSZN @thechosenberg Personally I went Verizon tier 1 phone support ($10) > Government helpdesk > ($14) Helpdesk level 2 > ($18) System admin ($36)… The one thing that broke me out of the terrible pay was a security+. If you have a clean background, DoD is great and they also do remote.

  • AustinFischerTX
    Austin (@AustinFischerTX) reported

I was hitting 1200 Mbps and thought, wow, Verizon is really pushing n77 in Gatlinburg — then this happened. What surprised me was that n77 seemed like their go-to choice for the area, but it’s clear they weren’t done yet. They’re obviously not backing down from mmWave.

  • rayoflight104
    S. (@rayoflight104) reported

@Verizon Midtown NYC - weekday mid-day wireless coverage for months now has been spotty or down. Paying for service I can’t render. What are you doing about it? Fix it!

  • AustinFischerTX
    Austin (@AustinFischerTX) reported

Early on, Verizon aggressively pursued its mmWave rollout. From what I’ve read, Verizon never actually claimed it would blanket the country with this spectrum — that perception was largely the result of their own aggressive marketing. At the time, without n77, deploying the backbone layer of 5G wasn’t yet viable. Rather than sit idle, they worked with what they had — their high-band spectrum. This was actually a financially prudent move; upgrading their entire grid to 5G before securing n77 would have meant costly rework down the line. The strategy made sense right up until the n77 auction changed the equation.
