Tony Waters (@TonyWaters7) reported from Eugene, OregonUSPS PROBLEM - many votes would not arrive in time. SOLUTION - Adopt basic commercial rule for offer + acceptance, i.e. offer is accepted when mailed. Postmark would control. (Theory = USPS is agent for addressee)

USPS says the change will help offset rising transportation and fuel costs. The agency reported a $1.25 billion quarterly loss in February and warns it could run out of cash within a year. Earlier this week, regulators also approved a temporary 8% price increase for Priority Mail, effective April 26.

Philadelphia OEM (@PhilaOEM) reportedUPDATE: USPS says that all mail service from their Grays Ferry location will shift to Lindbergh Avenue while Grays Ferry is closed. This now includes Post Office Box service within the USPS facility as well as packages.
