  Just goes to show people have ZERO understanding how small package delivery versus the postal service works. UPS and FedEx CANNOT and are NOT EQUIPPED to do what USPS does…in fact BOTH carriers DEPEND ON USPS for part of their business (DirectPost)

  @MrWells2011 @joncoopertweets @GeoffRBennett Multiple sources within the postal service told Motherboard they have personally witnessed the machines, which cost millions of dollars, being destroyed or thrown in the dumpster. USPS did not respond to a request for comment. Via Vice article

  It is obvious that the tickets were either lost or stolen at the Stamford, CT @USPS facility on or about June 8, 2022. Why else would the package show as "In Transit" for the past 5 months? Even if the postal service was using the Pony Express they'd have made it to Boise already

  I’ve learned in this holiday season that the @USPS is the most unreliable service out there. Shipped an envelope priority overnight to Minnesota and somehow it’s lost down in California. Then support either on phone or in person, nobody seems to care. #DefundTheUSPS

  “Informed delivery” from @USPS said a letter from my boyfriend was coming to my new P.O. Box Wednesday. It’s still not here. Nothing has been delivered, not even the past tenant mail that I keep getting notice for. I’m so worried they’ve lost this priceless to me letter😭 #usps

  @AmazonHelp we now have an Amazon facility in my hometown and now the service is worse than the Usps was didn’t think that could ever happen. Everything is always late just like today put on the wrong truck. That’s like the 10th time I’ve heard that total BS fixing to adios

  ez pass emailing me at 8:30pm about immediate action needing to be taken because usps lost my tag and I need to pay the lost fee but I have to call customer service to do so because my account is closed but customer service offices are closed... so why email me right now???? 🤦🤦

  @nypost What an absolute mess of an organization. I know many very good usps workers; it’s not the productivity of the worker. The issue is an organization that didn’t adjust to this thing we call the Internet. If it had been allowed to go private, the resulting firm would have made competitive business adjustments or gone out of business (there are other delivery services and don’t think for a second that some other firm wouldn’t have stepped in to take over the standard delivery service). But instead it’s an example of government mush. Everything the government runs turns to mush, necessarily. When will Congress act to privatize USPS?

  @SineKellan @WallStreetApes Shame for them? Leadership and employees are reason USPS became obsolete. Never accepted technology changes. Did you see the ugly new delivery vans? Could have purchased new vans from any domestic auto maker but they decided to design their own boondoggle! No shame!

  @WallStreetApes Solutions to help post office: No deliveries on weekends and Wednesdays. Sell advertising on USPS vehicles (like buses do). Sell advertising on stamps. Sell advertising on mail man uniforms.

  @amazon USPS has had my package 5 miles from its delivery point since last Wednesday (127 hours now). I could have literally crawled there and back faster. And no, I will not contact USPS - I pay you an unholy $ membership and paid for the product two weeks ago - so it is you duty to get my stuff to me. 😡

  @PG_rayC @TCGplayer Usps delivery has been ******. Shipped some duals to a person I trust completely. They even have security footage showing it was never delivered.... Still says delivered and USPS won't do shot about it

  @PokeCardsDaily @USPS I recently had that happen. I got a painting (yes, an actual framed painting, very small), and they stuck it in my box with no way for me to get it out. I had to leave a note for them to drop it at my door since the back where they place mail is wider than the door I open to get it. He threw it at my door the next day. I heard the thud. Wonderful service!
