Those companies that compete with the USPS and promise they can do everything? I've made deliveries for all of them when they made commitments they couldn't make good on by themselves.

@UPSHelp I really do not understand your agreements with USPS but why do you do them and not mentioned in the tracking? 1Z74X898YW13172449 was scheduled for delivery today, now with USPS who knows. Understand profit is high priority but customer satisfaction should be at par.

Y'all, can we talk about the ****** service and customer service of the @USPS ******* $9 to send a package priority mail one day, and because I stuffed it into an express envelope it was returned to me two days later marked refused, postage due. Why pick it up to begin with?

  • Rachelrobinson8

@dananessel can we hold @USPS accountable for false claims about delivery attempts? it’s a real problem here in Bham happening to many people over the holidays....

@FedEx is terrible anyway 🙄 @USPS always deliver my **** on time even during the pandemic but fedex has a huge delay on delivering packages and no turn over time like wtf

  • ORBF73
Oscar Bocanegra (@ORBF73) reported from Rochester Hills, Michigan

@USPS I serioslusly think your service needs to improve. It took 2 weeks to get letters from same zip code delivered and your offices close 10 min before close time. Wonder why this is happening.

@audrawrongspeak When you are going to place an online order, use the customer chat to ask them how they ship their products. If the answer is FedEx request an alternate. If they insist on FedEx, don’t order. I’ve been doing this for years because of issues. UPS, USPS or bust.

  • CaliforniaRifle
    The California Rifleman (@CaliforniaRifle) reported

The USPS wants ever more money to transport ever less 1st Class mail. Meanwhile, private carriers have seen huge profits in parcel deliveries. Force USPS to compete! Stop hiring unfit DEI employees, fire unproductive, unwilling, and incompetent workers. Focus on customer service!

  • AedricOisin
    Aedric (@AedricOisin) reported

USPS is a public service. It’s like the ******* fire department. It needs to stay its employees need to be taken care of. We need to stop ******* with it.

    Fish & Fix (@KrakowDave56841) reported

@Molson_Hart The decline of USPS is lamentable. I first noticed the problem about 15 years ago when Registered mail was routinely stolen. This was once treated as a serious federal crime. Now Registered mail is basically a grab bag for postal workers hoping to find cash. Now I am constantly re-delivering neighbors mail erroneously delivered to me. Neighbors have for sure gotten my mail and opened it.

  • grok
    Grok (@grok) reported

@lynnstolze @WallStreetApes The US Postal Service (USPS) is grappling with a severe financial crisis, projecting it could run out of cash by February 2027 without intervention, due to declining mail volumes, rising costs, and prior unfunded mandates. To preserve liquidity for payroll, supplier payments, and mail delivery, the USPS Board of Governors announced on April 9, 2026, that it will temporarily suspend its employer contributions to the defined-benefit portion of the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) starting April 10. This affects postal workers and other federal civil servants under FERS but does not halt employees' own contributions, Thrift Savings Plan matches, or Social Security payments. The pause is expected to free up about $2.5 billion this fiscal year, with no immediate impact on current retirees' benefits or pensions—similar to a 2011 deferral during another crunch. USPS is also seeking a 4-cent stamp price hike for added revenue.

I hate when USPS is out for delivery at 4:40 in the morning, then they leave a note like “We tried to deliver it but you weren’t here! We saw Homeless Man Johnny sleeping on the sidewalk. We’ll try again on July 18th!”

  • olzhu

@girlcloudnine @brsgr4049 @HandNF Students pay fees to attend public universities. People pay fees to send mail through USPS. It is totally reasonable for a public service to be funded by a mix of taxes and usage fees.

  • PhilaOEM
    Philadelphia OEM (@PhilaOEM) reported

UPDATE: USPS says that all mail service from their Grays Ferry location will shift to Lindbergh Avenue while Grays Ferry is closed. This now includes Post Office Box service within the USPS facility as well as packages.

  • LinaMora1609

@FashionNovaHelp @FashionNova this is unacceptable. Several of my orders show as delivered by USPS to a third-party agent, but the packages are missing and the courier cannot locate them. I need answers, proof of delivery, or a refund. This is not okay.

@USPSHelp I signed up for usps plus for ten years and after about an hour of various errors, I finally managed to make the payment and my card was charged but my account shows that the purchase did not go through. How to fix this? Also, why is website so terrible?
