Rep. Rick Crawford (@RepRickCrawford) reported🚨Important Tax Season Information 🚨 From now until Wednesday, April 15th, rather than mailing tax returns from your house or by the USPS blue mailbox outside of post offices, you should take your mail into the post office and ask an employee to “hand-cancel” your stamps. This will ensure that your mail is postmarked the same day you bring it in and avoid the IRS charging you for your tax-return being late. If you wish to take even more precaution, paying the additional $5.30 to send your tax-return by certified mail will provide you with a tracking number and allow you to require the IRS to provide a signature at the time of delivery, providing proof of delivery if somehow your taxes get lost by the IRS.
-
People of Agency (@PeopleOf_Agency) reported2/ Universal service ends. USPS is legally required to deliver everywhere at the same rate. Alaska to Manhattan, same stamp price. Private carriers charge $4.50-$5.40 "residential surcharges" and $3-$6 "rural surcharges" on top of base rates.
-
The California Rifleman (@CaliforniaRifle) reported@KTVU The USPS wants ever more money to transport ever less 1st Class mail. Meanwhile, private carriers have seen huge profits in parcel deliveries. Force USPS to compete! Stop hiring unfit DEI employees, fire unproductive, unwilling, and incompetent workers. Focus on customer service!

Lumida Wealth News (@LumidaNews) reported🟢 Amazon and USPS reach delivery deal; packages to be cut by 20% $AMZN

NewsForce (@Newsforce) reportedUS POSTAL SERVICE WARNS IT COULD RUN OUT OF MONEY IN 12 MONTHS USPS lost $9 billion in 2025 and says it could soon run out of operating funds entirely. The agency serves 167 million addresses and cannot drop unprofitable routes unlike private carriers. Source: NewsForce Host: @MacyGunnell

Whirlaway (We/Us) (@seabiscuitfan) reported@CurtisCarson50 @PeterSchiff Come back when this actually happens and actually does half of what the USPS is doing now on the last-mile issue right now.
-
Lina Mora (@LinaMora1609) reported@FashionNovaHelp @FashionNova this is unacceptable. Several of my orders show as delivered by USPS to a third-party agent, but the packages are missing and the courier cannot locate them. I need answers, proof of delivery, or a refund. This is not okay.
-
Fish & Fix (@KrakowDave56841) reported@Molson_Hart The decline of USPS is lamentable. I first noticed the problem about 15 years ago when Registered mail was routinely stolen. This was once treated as a serious federal crime. Now Registered mail is basically a grab bag for postal workers hoping to find cash. Now I am constantly re-delivering neighbors mail erroneously delivered to me. Neighbors have for sure gotten my mail and opened it.
-
Kenneth (@KenScottOlson) reportedI had a USPS delivery that went from the USPS Phoenix distribution centers, to the USPS Dallas distribution centers, then back to the USPS Phoenix distribution center, and now on the way to me. Seems like kind of a waste to send it to Texas for no reason, only to send it back.

jay blazek (@jay_blazek) reported@Libs_OfChicago @USPS But they want us to trust them with mail deliveries
