key 🥂 (@ISLANDPVRADISE2) reported from Maryland City, MarylandThey are trying to privatize mail delivery and it’s been going on for a while. USPS is the ONLY way some people in certain states get their mail and it’s the only “government funded program” that the elites can’t make money from, that’s why they’re doing this.

Rep. Rick Crawford (@RepRickCrawford) reported🚨Important Tax Season Information 🚨 From now until Wednesday, April 15th, rather than mailing tax returns from your house or by the USPS blue mailbox outside of post offices, you should take your mail into the post office and ask an employee to “hand-cancel” your stamps. This will ensure that your mail is postmarked the same day you bring it in and avoid the IRS charging you for your tax-return being late. If you wish to take even more precaution, paying the additional $5.30 to send your tax-return by certified mail will provide you with a tracking number and allow you to require the IRS to provide a signature at the time of delivery, providing proof of delivery if somehow your taxes get lost by the IRS.

Kemistry 🚫 I don't respond to DMs (@KemistryRC) reportedA green environmental story. I ordered an item online. The product origin address is 16 miles from my delivery point. The USPS was/is the shipper. The item was flown 1100 miles to the Pacific Northwest, so it can now fly back to be delivered, who knows when. They turned a 26 mile trip into over 2200 miles. Efficiently in action! 😜
-
ThyToaster (@thytoastergames) reportedWhy does the USPS even bother giving delivery dates? These mother ******* have NEVER been on time with jack or **** that I've ordered. They don't update transit worth a damn, if at all, and every package ends up being a week late at best.
-
madkatter (@madkatter295623) reported@DOGE @RepTimBurchett please DOGE these fools! Start with the idiot contracts to do the last mile deliveries for UPS and FedEx. USPS literally gets pennies out of the shipping cost on pallets and pallets of boxes at every location everyday. It is the stupidest contracts ever!

Beverly A. Pekala (@PekalaLaw) reported@name98844 @vjeannek People need to grab ahold of the concept of progress. It's stunning that people who fancy themselves progressive and urbanists shout against delivery robots and Waymo and ending USPS. etc etc. Horse and buggy days are gone. The only constant is change.
