My husband has had a check in the mail since May (USPS confirmed it has the check and it’s “out for delivery”). It’s pure luck and privilege we don’t need it to survive.

Carrier delivered a pkg that was supposed to have signature delivery. The box/item was severely damaged. Asked for proof of delivery, they provided a forged / falsified signature, which is a felony. @USPSHelp

Matter of fact it was on a very rare occasion it didn't show up on time with UPS. Since since USPS started doing deliveries it's been more frequent. When I order stuff through FedEx, it is never late, and sometimes it's a day early.

Parallel Spock (@RussLarson) reported@nypost What an absolute mess of an organization. I know many very good usps workers; it’s not the productivity of the worker. The issue is an organization that didn’t adjust to this thing we call the Internet. If it had been allowed to go private, the resulting firm would have made competitive business adjustments or gone out of business (there are other delivery services and don’t think for a second that some other firm wouldn’t have stepped in to take over the standard delivery service). But instead it’s an example of government mush. Everything the government runs turns to mush, necessarily. When will Congress act to privatize USPS?
