USPS isn’t the only one with delivery issues. @UPS was supposed to deliver something last week and everyday it gets updated and pushed out. This has happened multiple times since this mess started. USPS has been better with packages than @UPS honestly. @FedEx still the best.

  • jasonwong338
Jason Wong 黃 (@jasonwong338) reported from Glen Burnie, Maryland

I hope the @USPS deliveries my package to the correct post office this time. They delivered my last package to a post office box at a totally different post office.

  • notDanRadcliffe

@notlikethecomet @USPS That sucks. In our neighborhood the liquor store is a UPS drop spot and they hold deliveries for you

  • shermansez
HusbandFromHell (@shermansez) reported from Baltimore, Maryland

@PIMPMCGEE @MikeBloomberg This is not why they have issues financially at USPS. It's the retirement plan obligation, look it up. But also, if they raise that price, don't you think it will just get passed on to consumers??

  • realraystrick
Ray Strickland (@realraystrick) reported from Baltimore, Maryland

JUST IN: Maryland AG @BrianFrosh announced the state is joining a multi-state coalition, suing @USPS for “drastic operational changes” that “threaten critical mail delivery and could undermine the national election in November.” @WMAR2News

  • Mareport

@USPS @USPSHelp why is my mail so backed up? Is there a problem in Baltimore? Letters taking one month+ to arrive within city? Fix possible?

  • GalaxyExplorin
Erin (@GalaxyExplorin) reported from Brooklyn Park, Maryland

@USPS @USPSHelp over 5 days 6+ packages have not updated. Some kind of update besides putting a possible delay on the website would be really helpful...

  • sirfunwill

@TJSmithSocial @USPS Wow 😯 I honestly think it’s once a week delivery. But April unacceptable.

  • pauly1620
Pauly1620 (@pauly1620) reported from Baltimore, Maryland

All day I have been tracking a package via @USPS claiming delivery by 9pm tonight. After 9pm status changed to "delivery date unknown." Sure glad I paid for expedited shipping.

  • heliosmou

@USPSHelp How can “customer care” inquiries be arbitrarily determined as “resolved” when you’re just getting started solving a serious problem with your mail? Re: Thank you for contacting the USPS® Internet Customer Care Center - Resolved [ ref:_00Dj0GyYH._500t0cQQ7P:ref ]

  • MattHartUSA2
MattHartUSA (@MattHartUSA2) reported from Baltimore, Maryland

@therealzanetta @LRPow79 @Slate In the week of Dec. 26, the last period for which USPS publicly disclosed its delivery rates, only 63.87 percent of first-class mail made it to its destination on time across the U.S....It was only 29.97 percent in Baltimore,... Yeah, my neighbors and I can attest to that.😠

  • GalaxyExplorin
Erin (@GalaxyExplorin) reported from Brooklyn Park, Maryland

@USPS #USPS you know the issue is that customer service is virtually nonexistent. FedEx and UPS do NOT have this issue. I blame it on the fact that you’re a federal agency and they usually don’t give a ****

  • odetteramos
Odette Ramos (@odetteramos) reported from Baltimore, Maryland

The community meeting was a chance for USPS Representatives to listen to the issues and to provide strategies to make our postal offices more efficient. Instead, they decided to not be held accountable. This is a problem all over our city and nationwide...

  • FLAGRANTBANANAS
Dantifa (@FLAGRANTBANANAS) reported from Baltimore, Maryland

@USPS y’all have to be the biggest, most useless, garbage delivery service, maybe in the world?

  • CEP_Observer
Alan Robinson (@CEP_Observer) reported from Baltimore, Maryland

@jmhaigh @savethepo @JillFilipovic If the USPS scheduled all bulk mail regardless of class and charged rates best on availability of capacity service would be better and overtime and extra trip costs would not be an issue

  • jasonwong338
Jason Wong 黃 (@jasonwong338) reported from Glen Burnie, Maryland

@FedExHelp @USPS @FedEx I could work for FedEx, all you have to do is read what’s on the screen. When is my delivery date again? Today? Yeah, fat chance. It’s only been in transit for 14 days, what’s another 14 days? Great job FedEx.

  • cdaugburr

  • GalaxyExplorin

@USPS Did informed delivery just stop working? For the two days everything arriving to my house from multiple locations just all changed to arriving late and stopped updating their tracking.

  • educationpalmer
Jason Palmer 🏃‍♂️ (@educationpalmer) reported from Baltimore, Maryland

@refuturing USPS being in the Constitution is like the 2nd Amendment being in the Constitution. It’s a weird artifact of being written in 1787, which is why neither is in any other OECD Constitution. USPS should be protected thru Nov, but mail delivery should be a market function by now.

@USPS @USPSHelp You ne@USPSLHelpback to allowing customers to contact you when packages are NOT delivered. EVERY DELIVERY NOTICATION SHOULD INCLUDE A PICTURE OF THE DELIVERED ITEM AS PROOF IT WAS DELIVERED!!! If the pkg was mis-delivered, it allows us to find the pkg.

$FDX and UPS sitting pretty as USPS burns through cash reserves — when the government postal service needs another bailout, where do you think that package volume migrates? Private logistics players love public sector incompetence 📦

  • PhilaOEM

UPDATE: USPS says that all mail service from their Grays Ferry location will shift to Lindbergh Avenue while Grays Ferry is closed. This now includes Post Office Box service within the USPS facility as well as packages.

  • SliferSlackin
    Yugiboomer's return era (@SliferSlackin) reported

@PG_rayC @TCGplayer USPS is ***. They've lost more than one of my orders from TCGplayer (or the seller never shipped them, had an issue with Direct recently too), but asking for more because the price went up is incredibly sus.

  • DemoncratsREviI

@ViralVideos This will devastate delivery services, Ubers, cabs, usps, Amazon, ups, FedEx, DoorDash, etc.

  • jjgoad
    Sir Goads Ghastly (@jjgoad) reported

@skillz17q You’re talking out of your ***. Amazon has been shipping with USPS for over 30 years. In fact the majority of their shipments to the U.S. throughout the entirety of their existence have shipped USPS. Even items that go UPS largely rely on USPS for last mile delivery.

  • digitaltf1821
    digitaltf (@digitaltf1821) reported

@BiatchDulce USPS has been shite for my lifetime. I'm not young. I remember when it was restructured in the 1990s for "efficiency"... more like deficiency. Service is crappier and costs 5x more. Sounds like it's been a major loser for quite some time. USPS has never been profitable. Ever.

@ronhubbard1606 @SarahisCensored WRONG!! Most people have NO idea these atrocities are even happening in America. I didn't know it. THIS is the reality of America Ron! I thought FEDX & USPS and UPS delivery drivers were vetted., given back round checks & drug tested. These BEASTS are delivering packages to our HOMES in our neighborhoods! How can we hold anyone responsible if we're totally Ignorant these companies hire murderers?!! Ignorance is NOT bliss, it's death so stop encouraging ignorance Ron!!

  • eaauaia
    BTWDTA🏴‍☠️⚡️⚡️ (@eaauaia) reported

@audrawrongspeak When you are going to place an online order, use the customer chat to ask them how they ship their products. If the answer is FedEx request an alternate. If they insist on FedEx, don’t order. I’ve been doing this for years because of issues. UPS, USPS or bust.

  • karlahk
    Karla Hammer Knotts (@karlahk) reported

@USPS I believe that Informed Delivery has value. I would easily pay 99 cents a month (like Apple storage). Don’t give away what customers value and will pay for.
