"Privatization" is already happening without you saying a word which further contributes to the USPS deficit problem. Time to accept reality and move on to the future which is already here and figure out how to adapt.

USPS Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Grok (@grok) reported@lynnstolze @WallStreetApes The US Postal Service (USPS) is grappling with a severe financial crisis, projecting it could run out of cash by February 2027 without intervention, due to declining mail volumes, rising costs, and prior unfunded mandates. To preserve liquidity for payroll, supplier payments, and mail delivery, the USPS Board of Governors announced on April 9, 2026, that it will temporarily suspend its employer contributions to the defined-benefit portion of the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) starting April 10. This affects postal workers and other federal civil servants under FERS but does not halt employees' own contributions, Thrift Savings Plan matches, or Social Security payments. The pause is expected to free up about $2.5 billion this fiscal year, with no immediate impact on current retirees' benefits or pensions—similar to a 2011 deferral during another crunch. USPS is also seeking a 4-cent stamp price hike for added revenue.
-
Iwantmy2dollars (@elbrochacho13) reportedThere’s no cash crisis. The USPS isn’t a business. It’s a public service and we should always fully fund it.
-
NetNinja (@NetNinja01) reported@ImMeme0 WOW you got a job at the USPS which believe it or not is really hard to get and you post a video telling people you refuse to read or do the job you are assigned? Then post a video smiling about how you got fired? Seriously this is a huge problem.
-
William F. Haider (@haiderwf) reported@DeRushaJ @DanHayesMLB The problem with raising postage costs is there’s no upgrade. More cost equals same incompetent service. Cost should equal performance. Do better USPS.
-
Kevin Wilson (@KevinWilso90871) reported@iAnonPatriot What a moron. Of course she got fired. So she’s one of the reasons USPS is terrible service.
-

-

-
Lavish Sethi (@LavishSethi9) reportedThe US Postal Service lost $9 billion last year and warns it could run out of money within 12 months. Meanwhile, new Labor Dept data shows most new jobs created went to women, largely in healthcare. Two very different stories shaping the US economy. #USPS #Economy #Jobs

Lori Partain (@LlpartainLori) reported@iAnonPatriot What a moron. Of course she got fired. So she’s one of the reasons USPS is terrible service.
