Christopher Jimenez (@cjmnz8) reported from Kendall, Florida@AmazonHelp I’ve got deliveries by USPS, UPS, and Amazon. Doesn’t seem to matter much..
-
Jerry A Galindo (@JerryAGalindo) reported from The Crossings, FloridaI’m not worried about the @USPS closing. They function without taxpayer money, but fortunately the IRS and every state, county, and city rely on the Postal Service to deliver tax money which in turn is used to run this great nation of ours. Let’s see what happens #postalproud

Yaniel Mesa (@yanielm10) reported from Coral Terrace, FloridaOne of the main reasons @USPS has been struggling with bankruptcy all these years is the poor customer service they provide.

Micah KAΨ (@mharrell04) reported from South Miami, Florida@Taleof2Wolves @RealKiraDavis @USPS Yes, but the postal police need to do something about the crime. Get the P.O. box is a valid option, but that issue needs to be address. It is always who the crimes are against that makes the difference. If it's someone "important" FOLKS MOVE ON IT.
-
Leah ✨ (@Leah__Lozada) reported from Coral Terrace, Florida@USPS this is ridiculous. Two days in a row and for some reason none of my mail has arrived and my package is no where to be found. Saying “delivery attempted” when NO mailman/woman has passed by my house.

Whirlaway (We/Us) (@seabiscuitfan) reported@CurtisCarson50 @PeterSchiff Come back when this actually happens and actually does half of what the USPS is doing now on the last-mile issue right now.
-
Grook (@grokAIzzz) reported@JamesTate121 Every company position itself against the postal service has a warehouse, a head quarters, findable owners, etc. do work, save the usps!
-
A-Aron Richalds (@atRichalds) reported@WPXI The increase should be far larger than four cents per stamp. US tax taxpayers subsidize the USPS to the tune of billions of dollars a year. This means that we are also subsidizing every piece of junk mail sent via USPS. Stop subsidizing USPS, raise the stamp price to appropriate levels to stay solvent, problem solved.

Curse and Coffee (@CurseandCoffee) reportedUSPS Raids Its Own Pension Fund The postal service is burning retirement savings to buy time Congress won't give it. $118bn in losses since 2007. First-class mail — the agency's best earner — has dropped to volumes not seen since the 1960s. The borrowing limit sits at $15bn, a cap Congress set in 1992 and never raised. USPS maxed it out years ago. Postmaster General David Steiner, a former FedEx board member who took over last July, told Congress the agency could run dry as soon as October. His predecessor's turnaround plan promised to break even by 2024. USPS posted a $9.5bn loss instead. Amazon is also pulling back. The company is reducing the volume it ships through USPS — right as the agency auctions off last-mile delivery access to survive. Steiner's pitch to Congress: Hike the price of stamps from 78 cents to 95 cents or more. He also wants the borrowing limit raised and pension funds invested beyond Treasury bonds. An 8% surcharge on packages kicks in on April 26. Cutting delivery days is on the table… But federal law still requires six-day service to 169 million addresses. The GAO's verdict is blunt: The business model is "unsustainable." USPS has been on its High Risk list since 2009. And starting this year, it owes an estimated $750m in new retiree health care payments — costs Congress mandated but never funded. *** Pension fund as petty cash. Peak America. ***

meevalerie (@meevalerie) reported@USPS @USPSHelp You ne@USPSLHelpback to allowing customers to contact you when packages are NOT delivered. EVERY DELIVERY NOTICATION SHOULD INCLUDE A PICTURE OF THE DELIVERED ITEM AS PROOF IT WAS DELIVERED!!! If the pkg was mis-delivered, it allows us to find the pkg.

Roselle Avenue (@roselleavenue) reported@NHbskraus @CardPurchaser Yeah I don't think anything gets scanned again after that 'Delivered' scan, which is just the sorting machine in actuality. USPS won't authorize a further handheld scan for basically what is letter rate mail. It's a real problem for card sellers/buyers.
-
People of Agency (@PeopleOf_Agency) reported2/ Universal service ends. USPS is legally required to deliver everywhere at the same rate. Alaska to Manhattan, same stamp price. Private carriers charge $4.50-$5.40 "residential surcharges" and $3-$6 "rural surcharges" on top of base rates.

Freedom Entrepreneur (@FreedomEntrprnr) reported@KeithMalinak @USPS @USPSHelp If you are expecting customer service from the postal monopoly you are in for sadness.
-
AzGeorge (@GeorgeRfinaz13) reported@iAnonPatriot As they should have! I'm a former USPS employee and proud to have been one. It angers me when I see horrible people working for the service. It's hard to get terminated after the initial 90 day probation and that's a problem

ItWontGoHowUThink (@HighestOneYet) reported@CultureCrave Everybody greedy. Lol. @amazon for the monthly cost of your service, you’d think your employees would either A: be paid more, or B: you’d actually have employees to deliver our packages instead of usps. But hey, capitalism.
