    @newsgirlct @Alison_Cross_ I’m sorry but the love fest to utilities is over the top. This is their job to turn the power back on & we pay top dollar for it! Plus, Eversource got rid of a lot of their local utility crews when they bought the company. This is why they need to bring in crews from out of state

    @ctnewsjunkie ISO has been begging CT to come up with an energy plan for right now! The transition to renewables (which is at least 7 to 20 years out) has left us vulnerable now. Eversource’s CEO is worried about the next 2 years! CT is trying to hook people up to something that doesn’t exist.

    @ctnewsjunkie @whateversusan 👉🏻re: electricity—why are profits at Eversource & UI sky high?Somebody’s rolling in the dough & it isn’t us. Why is it that the municipally owned power utilities in towns like Norwich & Wallingford aren’t constantly hiking rates like this? Legislators should demand answers.

    @lonseidman The Hartford Courant is really buying into Eversource’s PR efforts. 1) It’s their job to restore power. 2) With temps in the single digits, they should be working around the clock. People’s lives are on the line. 3) Eversource got rid of a lot of local linemen.

    @TCBCommunities Your complex Dutch Point in Hartford needs your advice about their street lights . They have been out for a week . City , eversource etc confused about who owns them . Unacceptable chaos . Please let me know who can give them the info they need .

    @DerrickEvans4WV Join the crowd. My bill- usage, service, delivery. EVERSOURCE then calculates a percentage of the total of the three and adds that to my bill (to pay for other customers bills). Then they have the nerve to ask if I want to add 1,2, or 3 $’s for operation fuel. 🤯 meanwhile I freeze all winter.

    @ShawnLaighean Eversource showed up, removed a large branch that fell on the wire that was pulling on the pole. It needs to be reset into the ground before it nails someone.

    @EversourceNH @donf0615 My usage is down by 25% according to my bill. I set the thermostat at 63 f but each month my bill is higher then last year. News flash: Eversource CEO compensation increased significantly per recent news story.

    BEWARE of @CEGCleanEnergy Tried to switch to them 5 months ago and they never submitted to Eversource. Spoke w several customer service people, multiple days, and nothing was resolved. Lost hundreds of dollars. Don’t use #constellationEG Avoid #constellationenergy

    @AlexStepherylh @type1ayy @_baldtires Yes but I’m telling you Eversource and National grid are usage based on distribution fees. I’m a customer too. Differs from everywhere else I’ve ever lived. Normally distribution is a flat rate, period. But not up here.
