I spent two hours troubleshooting and an hour on the phone. Only after all of this now Comcast tells us “oops there is an outage in the area”

After spending $160 on a new modem, I look again and see you have an outage in the whole area!! Not cool..

When I open my Xfinity Account app on my phone I should be able to do the same - Self Service @comcastcares needs improvement for outage reports.

Called CS and told the rep what was happening and that I was currently connected after 5 restarts. Her reply your modem is working I can't do anything. She would not connect me with anybody else.
