Scott Powers (@USNAVY_CHIEF1) reported from Fort Meade, Maryland@comcast @Xfinity what exactly is your process for resolving outages? Twice today we had outages and then told we are fine. We’ve been out nearly all day. I’ve called and told it’s my equipment although the whole neighborhood is out. Please fix it once and for all
-
Scott Powers (@USNAVY_CHIEF1) reported from Fort Meade, Maryland@Xfinity Yes I do. Still doesn’t explain why a Comcast office refused to let me connect even though I’ve been a customer for 6 years. Oh - they did say if I bought an xFinity mobile then I could connect. Honestly, your Customer Service sucks
-
Rj Harris (@RjHarris15) reported from Linthicum Heights, Maryland@Xfinity y’all are losing a customer. I understand with Covid things can be a little difficult, but just tell us that. Don’t give us the run around for weeks, leave us without service, then send a bill.. Yea ok
-
yall weird. (@rrrlll_kev) reported from Ferndale, Maryland@Xfinity as a current customer, your service is subpar. Internet be randomly going out
-
Bon Vivant ☯️ (@BreeziNUrMouth) reported from Severn Woods, MarylandIt says “xfinity” but I’ve never had Comcast a day in my life. Good looking out tho.
-
Shawn M. Smith (@ShawnMSmith) reported from Elkridge Heights, MarylandI'm having a hard time with people enjoying the #xfinity #etcommercial. It took one of the absolute final sweet, sacred memories of the 80s and dropped a steaming shit on it to make money. IT IS STILL COMCAST. It was not on homage; they wanted cord cutters to hate Xfinity less.
-
ohitsmark.com (@markvidreiro) reported from Elkridge Heights, MarylandI can't tell if @hulu @hulu_support or @Xfinity is capping the bed. Can't even watch the race because my connection is so bad.
-
Scott Powers (@USNAVY_CHIEF1) reported from Fort Meade, MarylandTrue story 8/31 - Jessup Maryland @Xfinity @comcast Event: Major internet outage on base. Very important documents to submit to the Va. I drive fast to the Comcast office nearby. Me: My internet suddenly went out and I most urgently need to connect for a few minutes

LavenderLady (@LucyDi999) reported from Severn Woods, Maryland@Rachel1Green2 @Thomas1774Paine @OANN COMCAST doesn’t offer OANN. I may get it on Roku for .99 a month. BUT I’ve been getting more real news from YouTube eg @PatriotsSoapbox 24/7. There is so much info on internet that never even gets to Fox.
-
Mark Vidreiro (@markvidreiro) reported from Elkridge Heights, MarylandImagine it's nearly 2am in Daytona. The Xfinity race just ended after a near 3 hour delay. And you got to put on the Wawa mascot uniform to do victory lane ****. **** that.
-
[B]enjamin [B]achman (@benjaminbachman) reported from Elkridge Heights, Maryland@comcastcares why do I have an absolutely horrible experience every time I call customer support. I have been on the phone with them for 29 minutes and they still don’t understand my simple problem.
-
perlman (@perlman) reported from Harwood Park, Maryland@jedweeks @comcastcares Yes, this is the same Baltimore office that has failed us (where’s our FIOS or municipal service as you stated?) but they do minimal lip service by making Comcast respond when notified. I suggest including the time & dates of all calls in your letter as well.
-
Andy French (@AndyNFrench) reported from Severn Woods, Maryland@z_drennen @comcast @Xfinity We cut the @Xfinity cord over two years ago for their TV service bit are still forced to use them for internet (sole provider for Baltimore). Anyway, I’ve had the “boxes” in my trunk for the entire time and we’re still paying $10/mo for them ($2.5/bc/mo). 1/2
-
BlackBonnie💙 (@QueenBlizz11) reported from Ferndale, Maryland@JaeDafuture @Xfinity They high as ****!

Charles Schelle (@ImYourChuck) reported from Pumphrey, MarylandSo, this surprised numerous support agents and myself since I was on hold for 25 minutes for them to figure it out. @Xfinity is now forcing people to subscribe to view the free games and it's up to you to cancel before the trial is over according to the agent
-
Andy French (@AndyNFrench) reported from Severn Woods, Maryland@z_drennen @comcast @Xfinity I have tried multiple times to drop them off at a “service center” only to be greeted by lines around the block. Not wanting to spend hours of my weekend waiting to drop-off useless boxes, we continue to eat the $10/mo... 2/2
Comcast Xfinity Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
AthenaofAmerica (@mexigreekmom74) reported@amystreasures @1ssve In my area, we had issues all the time. I also had issues when I moved to another spot, but thankfully AT&T was just starting fiber optic so I got that and had no problems. Ending up moving again and got stuck with Comcast and started having issues again. Finally said enough and never went back.
-
Samantha (@SamGLumley) reported@DenverChannel @Xfinity is awful. The absolute worst customer service ever.
-
I judge you: I am ULTRA MAGA (@judgmentcenter) reportedElon Musk's Starlink is great. I am a customer. - Starlink is great. When Florida got hit by a hurricane many lost cable internet and also fiber internet for days and days, but people that had Starlink didn't. - Starlink is just as fast as Comcast and Spectrum high speed internet - I put the Starlink cable in a protective plastic protector, then buried it 2-3 inches. - I also put the Starlink dish in a clear acrylic sleeve that will protect it from bird droppings, tree sap and even hail - However when a hurricane was coming I unburied the cable and brought the Starlink dish inside my garage to protect dish during the storm. - There is plenty of extra cable to do so. - As soon as the wind died down, I brought the dish back out and had my high speed internet back up within about 10 minutes. - Sandbags hold it in place for normal storms +++ +++ They have a $5 a month standby mode. It automatically updates its firmware and software in standby mode. It is ready for you in 5 minutes whenever you need to start up high speed internet. Great for snow birds or if your cable/fiber internet goes out IE after a major hurricane, tornado, storm. +++ +++ It is also a satellite phone. It works even if all the cell towers are down so you can make calls or send/receive text messages. You can make phone calls or send text using your cell phone: Step 1: Connect to the Starlink Wi-Fi (regular high speed internet OR standby modes) Step 2: Then select Wi-Fi Calling Step 3: Now you are connected to the Starlink satellites making calls, send texts using your cell phone.

Benjamin Seamon (@BenSeamon) reported@Xfinity any way I can get an ETA on my internet outage? Kind of have a big sporting event to watch this afternoon you know. . .
-
ProdByFinerThings (@prodfinerthings) reported@G0_R0GUE @TrueSouthernUSA @STaranto92 Yeah but RCR supplies engines for almost the entire Xfinity series, and they’re still have their major sponsors. Does seem the cash flow is an issue but to what scale? I feel like there are tons of other factors in play.
-
Under Caution (@UnderCautionPod) reported@CouchRacerShop “B.. b.. but he wrecked his teammate” funny how Ty Gibbs is the only driver fans refuse to let grow. Yeah he wrecked his teammate years ago in Xfinity, and it was a bad look, but acting like that defines his entire career is wild.
-
Bish I'm Trevor Keith (@keithstone_48) reported@chadmikosz25 @Ilikeracing3 The xfinity car isn't any better than the next gen. It's way worse actually. I dont know why we act like the xfinity car is so good. It's just a powered down COT.
-
Waethorn (@Waethorn) reported@TheGeorgePu It's because they're offering cut-rate subscriptions through media and network companies like Rumble, Bell Canada, PayPal, Comcast, Samsung, etc. "for free". AI-as-a-Service is a money-losing endeavour. In 5 years or less they'll be bankrupt.
-
ACDwithOCD (@BarleypopsMN) reported@DinduApe @tacooghost I did the month to month with no equipment cost. 200-300mbs 80 a month Had it as a failover while comcast was having issues in my area.
-
Pete Simard (@SimardPete) reported@MrEwanMorrison We used to pay $150/month for cable and think nothing of it. at least now you can cancel whenever instead of being locked into a comcast contract.
