@CenterPoint @CNPalerts power out last night, still out. Tech came at 10:30pm yesterday, left without telling us the problem. When I report an outage on the automated system, I get an email 10 minutes later saying power has been restored. No customer service reps available?

  • AllGoodBeer

@CNPalerts Lost power at 7:00pm. Estimated restoration time updated from 10:30PM to 11:00AM TOMORROW! This city has frequent storms and this one wasn't even severe. 9 month wait time for a backup generator, but then I'm just giving you even a more money for natural gas!

@CNPalerts You don't? It's a little late now as I've already paid you all. Centerpoint can do a lot better with your customer communications. To say the absolute least.

This "storm" wasn't severe at all 100k+ people without power. Barely receiving alerts or updates & I call and the automated number says estimate is now 8PM TOMORROW! @CenterPoint @CNPalerts

@CNPalerts Power is still out. It's been over 3 hours. I went to yalls website to put in my info to report an outage and I received a message that "my phone isn't in your system". Do yall have 11220 West Road on the list to be serviced?

@CNPalerts Experiencing my third power outage in a week. If it’s bad lines, fix them — but tell us when you’re going to turn our power off so people can make arrangements. This many outages is not acceptable.

@DavidGedzo @CNPalerts Any outages you may have experienced yesterday was due to isolated planned or unplanned outages and are not due to controlled outages or involuntary load reductions – those only occur as part of an @ERCOT_ISO directive during a declared power emergency. -CB 1/2

@collinmyerswx @JohnWFerguson @CNPalerts Just came back, thankfully. So 2 hours in total. Apparently a Metro bus took out a large power line in a crowded area.
