@GeriRosman @Uverse Both AT&T and Verizon offer a streaming video package. Sling also offers an excellent package. DirecTV Now is another good one. Play your cards right and you could get a better service cheaper. Lots of options out there.

@VZWSupport Well no shit you aren’t having any issues now, I was talking about this 5 or 6 hours ago, and couldn’t respond because I had no service I have seen other people in New England talking about having issues as well

Minutes work time - do these companies realize we are in a pandemic (can’t go anywhere for internet) during a storm that destroyed CT - none of them seem to care or willing to help - we are still working from home @EversourceCT @Verizon @Xfinity - we can be getting jacked around

  • lonseidman
Lon Seidman (@lonseidman) reported from Essex, Connecticut

@tokyotony Unfortunately I don’t have specifics on whether or not you need one. But it’s probably not a bad idea to get one as it appears as though Verizon’s cards are different from the 4G version.

After over six years of paid @ATT tech support, my phone consistently had 4 bars. Since canceling, the signal drops to 2 bars with unreliable data. It’s time to switch providers. I've been with #ATT since 2013, after spending 2000-2013 with @TMobile. Maybe now it's time to try @Verizon.

@tatsncatss I had this happen with T-Mobile. Tried for a new phone promotion, they wanted 300 down. Went to verizon and got the same deal with no down payment

@Techlife32 @TMobile @Verizon And to top it all off you get arguably the worst network of the big 3

@petergyang Maybe they didn’t. Maybe someone is exploiting a vulnerability. Maybe it is a bug like a routing or concurrency issue or a problem that exists only on certain servers or training sets or only when the model takes a certain path. Or only on certain networks like only Verizon network or something like that. Not everyone is seeing the problem. But I noticed that a lot of security researchers have experienced it.

  • acnewsonline
    Austin County News (@acnewsonline) reported

There have been recent phone and network issues reported across the country, depending on your carrier. The largest issue involved a nationwide Verizon outage that also impacted parts of Texas. Users reported phones stuck in “SOS mode” and an inability to make calls, send texts, or use data. At its peak, more than 175,000 users reported problems, with areas like Dallas and Houston among those most affected. Verizon has stated the outage has been resolved. However, the exact cause was not fully explained, though it is believed to have been related to a network or software issue. Smaller outages and service disruptions have continued in some areas. Even after the main outage, some users may still experience issues due to: Network towers recovering or experiencing heavy traffic Devices not fully reconnecting to the network Ongoing regional service interruptions Phones attempting to connect to weak or unstable signals
