Did @VerizonSupport @Verizon close their chat support and end responses? Please, if someone is on duty, nearly 1 hour has passed without any response. 1/2

Hey @verizon, I live in one of the poorest and Blackest zip codes in DC. Intersection of disproportionate COVID impact. Is there a reason you have someone going door to door offering new service? Surely you can’t think this “essential” or a good idea in a pandemic?

  • theguvna505
LT Goodluck (@theguvna505) reported from Washington, D.C., Washington, D.C.

@adamauden @TheMidlandsDC Oh man. That’s rough for a place with a high tech lab. Thankfully we have Verizon Fios at our place with the option for GB service.

  • JRmarsh_all

I can't help you anymore @VZWSupport you just need to take 🌈responsibility🌈 I know none of the customer service folks can mail a sim card. I don't want to assume they don't know how to mail a package, but I'm sure someone they work with is familiar with the postal service

  • ecl326
Ernie (@ecl326) reported from Washington, D.C., Washington, D.C.

@lagloriacubano @Commanders @FDSportsbook The Kicker is for Verizon Center ( now Cap One Arena) is that Pollin paid for the building with his own $$$. DC took care of the infrastructure. If the Commanders new owner(s) can build the new spot w/ their own $$$, that will help.

  • Sinoman
Marcus Eng (@Sinoman) reported from Washington, D.C., Washington, D.C.

Spent 4 days troubleshooting my Verizon Fios including hours online, having a tech replace the OTA, paying to upgrade to a new router, issue finally got resolved enough people in my neighborhood complained they realized it was a service issue on their end. @verizonfios

  • laetitiabrock
    Laetitia-Laure B. 🚀 (@laetitiabrock) reported from Washington, D.C., Washington, D.C.

@Daphify Yes though I called them and it definitly seems to be a server issue not a Verizon issue. Going home and hoping it’ll miraculously be fixed when I come back tomorrow ....

  • ryanpsnow

Starting hour 15 on with @VerizonSupport. I’ve never experienced such customer neglect so I’m sadly resorting to public shaming to get some resolution to case NRB000010608606

  • EvanCash
Evan Cash (@EvanCash) reported from Washington, D.C., Washington, D.C.

@TMobileHelp @ATT @Verizon It’s not difficult. The company we are both paying for cell service should be able to merge our accounts. Sorry if that’s an inconvenience to “Sprint” but I’m a T-Mobile customer now and deserve T-Mobile support

  • francvs
francvs (@francvs) reported from Washington, D.C., Washington, D.C.

@VerizonSupport I’m having problems because I’m paying for one line on my cellphone, so far as I know, on Verizon Prepaid, but another line, on which I get no service, is interfering with it, and I see data about Visible, which I haven’t had for months. Tnx.

  • NitaB_rich

I’ve set up her internet service and 3 separate TVs in 2 days. No, I’m not a Verizon employee.

  • bangs_drums
Emily Bangs Drums 🏳️‍🌈 (@bangs_drums) reported from Washington, D.C., Washington, D.C.

@VerizonSupport know what would be cool? CSR agents that actually respond when you’re asking “hello… are you there?” after leaving me hanging for 10 mins between chats. Fix your crap, Vz. And then my internet.

  • iman_kardash

@Xfinity HAS BLOCKED CUSTOMERS ABILITY TO CALL AND SPEAK TO A LIVE AGENT. I HAD A CREDIT THAT WASNT APPLIED, SERVICE SUCKS, AND I WAS RECENTLY CHARGED FOR MULTIPLE PIECES OF EQUIPMENT I DID JOT HAVE. @Verizon How much is internet? I’m ready to leave Comcast.

After over six years of paid @ATT tech support, my phone consistently had 4 bars. Since canceling, the signal drops to 2 bars with unreliable data. It’s time to switch providers. I've been with #ATT since 2013, after spending 2000-2013 with @TMobile. Maybe now it's time to try @Verizon.

  • n00blet
    n00blet (@n00blet) reported

@tatsncatss I had this happen with T-Mobile. Tried for a new phone promotion, they wanted 300 down. Went to verizon and got the same deal with no down payment

  • ChaseJensen

@Techlife32 @TMobile @Verizon And to top it all off you get arguably the worst network of the big 3

  • TeriRadichel
    Teri Radichel #cybersecurity #pentesting (@TeriRadichel) reported

@petergyang Maybe they didn’t. Maybe someone is exploiting a vulnerability. Maybe it is a bug like a routing or concurrency issue or a problem that exists only on certain servers or training sets or only when the model takes a certain path. Or only on certain networks like only Verizon network or something like that. Not everyone is seeing the problem. But I noticed that a lot of security researchers have experienced it.

  • acnewsonline
    Austin County News (@acnewsonline) reported

There have been recent phone and network issues reported across the country, depending on your carrier. The largest issue involved a nationwide Verizon outage that also impacted parts of Texas. Users reported phones stuck in “SOS mode” and an inability to make calls, send texts, or use data. At its peak, more than 175,000 users reported problems, with areas like Dallas and Houston among those most affected. Verizon has stated the outage has been resolved. However, the exact cause was not fully explained, though it is believed to have been related to a network or software issue. Smaller outages and service disruptions have continued in some areas. Even after the main outage, some users may still experience issues due to: Network towers recovering or experiencing heavy traffic Devices not fully reconnecting to the network Ongoing regional service interruptions Phones attempting to connect to weak or unstable signals
