Curious how many law suits get filed against @PGE4Me during this planned outage... for the folks not on generators there is certainly going to be a lot of lost food, if not other issues. Thank goodness this isn’t occurring during a heat wave @ReezyResells @TWiT @leolaporte

  • jrsanford

@PGE4Me please dispatch a repair truck to Sunlit Lane, Santa Cruz ? We’re the last neighborhood in the mountains with no power! It’s going on 8 days! It’s a simple “line down” Situation... let’s go!!!!

  • emany2k
Eric Isaacson (@emany2k) reported from Brookdale, California

@latimes @PGE4Me There is no wind, high temps or high fire danger in Santa Cruz County. There is actually higher fire danger & environmental impact from generators running around the county. There also increased traffic driving to Santa Cruz for gas for generators. Turn the power back on.

@PGE4Me lol pg&e sucks so bad. Power has gone out 4 times in a month. Just incredible

  • geekfinn
Frank Emmons (@geekfinn) reported from Soquel, California

@PGE4Me wind here is 4 mph, humidity 87%, temp 56 degrees. Yet you turn off the power in #SanteCruz county because of a 'wind event'. Your CEO should be mailed and your meteorologist fired.

  • jpostman
Joel Postman (@jpostman) reported from Aptos, California

@PGE4Me was having trouble with the power grid so they called @comcastcares who suggested unplugging the state of California, waiting three days and then plugging it in again. #pgeshutoff #pge

  • savy_savoie
Thomas Savoie (@savy_savoie) reported from Santa Cruz, California

Leave it to piece of **** capitalism @PGE4Me to charge you money for no reason at all and then say they can't give your money back for weeks

  • joeydiamonds10
Joey (@joeydiamonds10) reported from Scotts Valley, California

Plot twist: Santa Cruz never ran out of power. @PGE4Me initially said Wednesday morning, then 12pm, then 4pm, then 6pm, then 8pm. But there is still power. The only thing PGE did was waste the entire county’s time for nothing.

  • amberizmo
Amber Oropeza (@amberizmo) reported from Scotts Valley, California

@sccounty @PGE4Me ...regardless of Shutoffs. Schools say they need to turn in work even though we have no power. Why does Scott’s valley have power and we don’t in Boulder Creek? There’s no wind!!!! 2/2

  • CrtfdSprvlln
    Certified Supervillain (@CrtfdSprvlln) reported

@ironnfox @PGE4Me Ya, truth is, long term, the price of gas isn't going down. As Elon, Bezos, and frenz, start launching more and more **** into space, gas is going to continue to get radically more expensive For a parallel example, look at what happened to GPU & RAM prices in the past 6 months

  • melinskers
    melissa (@melinskers) reported

my power is out and all the food my dad made me to eat this week while i'm unable to cook for myself is going to go bad @PGE4Me i HATE you

  • PoliticalRICO
    PoliticalRICO (@PoliticalRICO) reported

@TheKevinDalton They started rising about two years after the @PGE4Me San Bruno catastrophe. Or, just about the time they figured out what lawsuits would cost the company. Rates kept rising as-needed to fund losses to subsequent catastrophes.

  • ElGatoRojoAzul
Cat in a Cowboy Hat (@ElGatoRojoAzul) reported

@dandibley @PGE4Me No matter how many outages, cancer cells, gas line explosions or wildfires they are responsible for, they never miss a dividend.

  • Bigolpmp
    Wayne Koch (@Bigolpmp) reported

@PGE4Me Notice how they dont answer anyone's complaints. They are incapable of caring about anyone's hardships or why they dont have the power back on. When it comes time to vote for a Gov,im going with one that breaks up this company and gives us consumers a big discount

  • upsidedown118
    Gray State (@upsidedown118) reported

@SteveHiltonx And the ******* power keeps going out @PGE4Me and they blame it on the weather which is horseshit

  • JakeKarter1
    Jake Karter (@JakeKarter1) reported

"The additional fees aren't necessary for plant operations"? @PGE4Me THEN WHY ******** ARE THERE ADDITIONAL FEES? I swear everything you do is for shareholder profit. You don't give a SINGULAR **** about your customers. @CAgovernor @GavinNewsom Is THIS really the utility model you support? Money aside, is THIS want you want for California?

  • TheIndyRick
    IndyRick (@TheIndyRick) reported

Being a PG&E customer is another good reason to leave California. They rob you with rate hikes constantly, impose new regulations while keeping their infrastructure stagnant and never communicate with their customers. @PGE4Me is robbing us all and giving us third world service.

  • brooklynjxc
    Raiderfanatic (@brooklynjxc) reported

@nbcbayarea @PGE4Me What a joke. They raise rates by hundreds & reduce by crumbs! They need to be broken up. They are a failed utility. Never used their renewal & replacement rate base to fix plant. Then they burn or blow up communities & want more rate increases.

  • i_am_remy_bot
    possum faerie 🏴🏳️‍⚧️ 🇵🇸🔻 (@i_am_remy_bot) reported

@PGE4Me hey, tens of thousands were without power still, but at least @DanielLurie got to watch his daughter in a ballet!
