@patterson_janep @PGE4Me @FOX40 Fire hazard... they are close to power lines.

  • scottlay
Scott Lay (@scottlay) reported from Sacramento, California

The first 22 hours of the day, NorCal Twitter hated on @PGE4Me. Fortunately for the beleaguered utility, the Dodgers hate has sucked all the air out of the room.

  • keristen_holmes
Keristen Holmes (@keristen_holmes) reported from Sacramento, California

@felish_a @ABC10 @PGE4Me Just talked to @BrittanyBegley She only had 12 hour notice that their power would be out. That’s not enough notice for me.

  • scottlay
Scott Lay (@scottlay) reported from Sacramento, California

@JellyBearDemMom @PGE4Me Exactly, it very much looks like some will have been without power Thursday-Thursday. :-(

  • KCRABrandi
Brandi Cummings (@KCRABrandi) reported from Sacramento, California

BREAKING: @PGE4Me says it’s considering the possibility of ANOTHER power shut off this week. We’ll tell you when and where it could happen...on @kcranews on MY58 at 10.

  • scottlay
Scott Lay (@scottlay) reported from Sacramento, California

I have offered plenty of criticism of @PGE4Me, state electeds of both parties, IBEW, NIMBYism, environmentalists, etc. I'm going to say in public safety mode until these incidents are over. It's about the power and fire situation. The Legislature is gone until January 6.

  • scottlay
Scott Lay (@scottlay) reported from Sacramento, California

@SamanthaCorbin It's happening in LA/Ventura as well. My sister got robocalls from Ventura County and her daughter's school (Simi Valley). 153 people died last year. The system is better now, but preventative power shutoff was always expected. Warning is NWS, not @PGE4Me.

  • UDWA
UDW / AFSCME Local 3930 (@UDWA) reported from Sacramento, California

Power shutoffs by @PGE4Me put our IHSS recipients at risk. Many have medical devices & do not have the resources to survive without power. The assumption that people will simply take care of themselves in times like this is dangerous, and simply unfair. #PSPS #CALeg

  • Richard18456275
Richard Lopes (@Richard18456275) reported from Sacramento, California

@PGE4Me easy for folks who work for PG&E to shut down people's power , they have power in their homes when they go home

  • scottlay
Scott Lay (@scottlay) reported from Sacramento, California

@laura_nelson @SovernNation @NickRiccardi And, I hate to be the one defending @PGE4Me on Twitter, but they did what the Legislature and the federal judge overseeing San Bruno probation case asked them to do. Today/tomorrow, it will like be @SCE that's the target of everyone's uninformed Twitter ire.

  • scottlay
Scott Lay (@scottlay) reported from Sacramento, California

    @karl6109 It's not in a @PGE4Me power shutoff area...

  • BeccaReports
Becca Habegger (@BeccaReports) reported from Sacramento, California

Check out this fantastic interactive ‘infographic’ (for lack of a better term on my part) the @WSJ produced on @PGE4Me’s aging infrastructure and trouble areas. #PGE #KincadeFire #PGEshutoff

  • scottlay
Scott Lay (@scottlay) reported from Sacramento, California

A big point at Monday's hearing on public safety power shutoffs was why @PGE4Me's "community resource centers" were open 8am-8pm amid cold overnight temps. In ElDo county, ******* Pines is now dark with an overnight low of 37. (Gas heating uses electric thermostats.)

  • Van_Tieu
Van Tieu (@Van_Tieu) reported from Sacramento, California

.@PGE4Me and Edison utilities will take lionshare of “load shed”. It is up to the utilities to determine which area will be impacted and how long. Pg&e has said They can’t warn customers. Though. They did issue warnings to 3 counties last night. @ABC10

  • scottlay
Scott Lay (@scottlay) reported from Sacramento, California

@DougOse @RussellLowery10 @PGE4Me Legal questions too related with inverse condemnation. #KincadeFire likely will find @PGE4Me negligent, but @LADWP likely gets off on #GettyFire because the tree branch flew uphill into an area of clearance. Legally, that's not foreseeable. In short, it's very complicated.

  • scottlay
Scott Lay (@scottlay) reported from Sacramento, California

@richardcostigan @PGE4Me We just decided to cut the power to Room 4203.

  • TheFatPanther
HO HO HO PANTHER (@TheFatPanther) reported from West Sacramento, California

Just got an automated call from @PGE4Me that said basically no estimate for getting power back, definitely not tonight. So thanks for $500 of wasted food I guess. Thanks, 4500 west sac residents

  • hvanvooren
Harlan Van Vooren (@hvanvooren) reported from Sacramento, California

@GangstaDre12 @gilliardda @GrantNapearshow @PGE4Me Bottom line you should expect more from elected officials and a public utility you pay for unless you enjoy sheephood

  • scottlay
Scott Lay (@scottlay) reported from Sacramento, California

A friend in West Sac reports that her power just went out. Clearly, @PGE4Me is all-in for the Ravens. #AlwaysPGEsFault

  • TheFatPanther
HO HO HO PANTHER (@TheFatPanther) reported from West Sacramento, California

Hey @PGE4Me you guys want to give a damn estimate for #westsac or what? 15 hours without power OR an estimate is bad even for your horrible customer service.

  • ronjblm
    Ron Clements (@ronjblm) reported

@PGE4Me What a joke. Our business rates went up again by 17% in January. We see this year after year. I don’t post but just saw this smoke and mirror and had to react. NOT a happy customer but we are stuck!

  • StevenA96474855
    Steven-SF (@StevenA96474855) reported

@PGE4Me This must be a joke. Everyone in northern California is concerned over the cost of energy. My house is 58 degrees in an attempt to keep my bill under 600 a month. Energy is a luxury in this state. I had a customer that had a 1200 bill from his house that is for sale and is empty

  • Bigolpmp
    Wayne Koch (@Bigolpmp) reported

@PGE4Me Notice how they dont answer anyone's complaints. They are incapable of caring about anyone's hardships or why they dont have the power back on. When it comes time to vote for a Gov,im going with one that breaks up this company and gives us consumers a big discount

  • ckatcombs
    Candace Combs (@ckatcombs) reported

Please help @sfstandard @sfchronicle with @PGE4Me who has stolen 💰from me & will not return the 💰I had one of their employees who checked on my meter at my house said NO WAY that my bill went from 11/26 $146 12/26 $415 11/26 $146 & then 1/26 $1073 2/26 $819. This makes NO SENSE

  • ckatcombs
    Candace Combs (@ckatcombs) reported

OMG @PGE4Me is a MONOPOLY & really doesn’t care abt it’s customers. They charged me over $1k for gas in my small house on 1/26 & then $819 on 2/26. I’ve called for 3 mths with no resolution ONLY to be told that I need to cancel autopay so #PGE doesn’t steal any more of my money.

  • caenergyfacts
CA Energy Fact Check (@caenergyfacts) reported

For the third consecutive time since last September, @PGE4Me energy supply and delivery customers are seeing their rates drop. But like a broken record, @UtilityReform can't face the facts and misleads about future rates.

  • kscottz
    Kat Scott 🐀 (@kscottz) reported

@NVIDIARobotics @PGE4Me @Levatas Do you guys even live in Cali? PG&E is a really bad call on guests. Tech can't solve the gross incompetence and willful negligence of PG&E. I don't care how good it is.

  • ElGatoRojoAzul
Cat in a Cowboy Hat (@ElGatoRojoAzul) reported

@dandibley @PGE4Me No matter how many outages, cancer cells, gas line explosions or wildfires they are responsible for, they never miss a dividend.

  • rsonak
    Rohit Sonak (@rsonak) reported

ETR shows 3 PM but still no crew or activity for a confirmed transformer replacement. 18+ hrs without power affecting elderly residents. Can you confirm if crews are actually en route today? @PGE4Me @PGECalifornia

  • JotusX1
    JOTUS 1776 (@JotusX1) reported

@Milajoy California charges more for energy between 4-9pm. Right as families are coming home. Making dinner doing laundry 🧺. Just the right time to suck the middle class dry. Charge more for the same thing. Crooks @PGE4Me All the while Ai servers are turning never ending max power 24-7
