@oncor get with it. People are going to die in their homes. These are not rolling blackouts. I know many who have not lost power at all while others have been out nearly 24 hours.

@oncor Power off at 5:35pm yesterday by a downed tree on the power line. At first we were told it’d be fixed by midnight, now 3am? Could’ve gotten a hotel if I knew I’d be sleeping in pools of my own sweat! Haven’t seen any techs in two hours! Elderly fam visiting too! Help!

  • guyinthepink
Guy in the Pink Shirt (@guyinthepink) reported from Richardson, Texas

@Wingmen_Dave @oncor There was no game. They canceled it last night. The rest though is definitely bullshit. 4 hours of power out of 26 hours over here. 🤬🥶

@oncor @ERCOT_ISO my power is off but people a block away haven’t lost power AT ALL. And all you have to say is you are doing controlled outages. So why the same people?

  • lanceblann
Lance Blann (@lanceblann) reported from Highland Park, Texas

@GregAbbott_TX @oncor @ERCOT_ISO I have been without power in Dallas (75219) 36 hours!!! It’s 38 degrees INSIDE my house. I have no heat source. Now, I have a refrigerator full of ruined food and nothing is open to buy more. WTF ARE YALL DOING???? This is unacceptable.

  • harropj
Jonathan Harrop (@harropj) reported from Hebron, Texas

Seems like @Oncor is shutting off power to cell towers (voice as well as data) when they do rolling blackouts. Cool. Hope no one needs 911.

@wfaa @oncor @ERCOT_ISO We have had no power for at least 22 hours...currently 45 degrees in our home. I'm from the Midwest and never dealt with anything like this before. Texas needs to step up it's game.

  • CaWalgren
Carolyn Ann Walgren (@CaWalgren) reported from Richardson, Texas

@oncor @ERCOT_ISO We have been OUT SINCE SUNDAY. This is not a controlled outage! Why have we suffered and some haven’t lost power at all? Why not put all homes through a controlled rolling outage?

  • 10Spromark
10sproMark (@10Spromark) reported from Richardson, Texas

@oncor @ERCOT_ISO If your controlling them then you can tell us what time our power will come back on. Stop saying ‘we don’t know’! Your job is to know. If you really don’t know then you should not be in your position.

  • 10Spromark
10sproMark (@10Spromark) reported from Richardson, Texas

@oncor @ERCOT_ISO @NBCDFW how can I tell if I’m in a rotating outage or not? Haven’t had power all day then it came back on for about 30 minutes in Richardson then went out again.

  • kathleenLatta
Kathleen Latta (@kathleenLatta) reported from Richardson, Texas

Would love to see a map of the areas dealing with outages. The “rolling outages” do not seem to be evenly distributed. I know too many who have not lost power once yet other neighborhoods have for hours on multiple occasions. Why? @oncor

  • menacethedj
MenaceTheDJ (@menacethedj) reported from Addison, Texas

@oncor its been 12 hours with no power now. My apartment is 45 degrees inside.

@grandecom learn something from @oncor. I called earlier tonight and had to go through hoops just for your system to tell me that there was an outage. Yes I knew that. I call Oncor, that’s the first they tell me, no hoops. Fix your system, please.

Not a cloud in the sky, no wind and what do we get? ...another random @oncor power outage in Grapevine. One of about 10 we've average per year in our neighborhood over past 20 years. Never any explanation. Like living in third-world here.

  • HaviDahvi_5
    Smith (@HaviDahvi_5) reported

@oncor Y’all are not providing updates yall just keep changing the time. Crazy to not have power with a freeze warning.

  • MrMisanthropst
    MrSeñor (@MrMisanthropst) reported

@oncor I have lived in TN,MN,WA and now TX (78660)...never have I ever experienced 9 outages within about a years time (including right now). If Texans were smart, we'd figure out how to file a class action lawsuit against you. I pay $500 +/- for electric when it works. You suck.

  • lowroda
    David Lowther (@lowroda) reported

It's shocking, regardless of where I move in TX, if it starts raining @oncor cannot keep the power on. It's literally only raining. Too hot? Power off. Rain or snow? Yup....power off. Someone farts too hard? Power off indefinitely. Can't keep the power on in any condition.
