    Update on utility emergency - Route 27 will be closed in both directions for a few hours while Eversource makes repairs to the power lines. It is closed at the intersection of Rt 27/Rt 126 and Rt 27/Glezen.

    @AlexStepherylh @type1ayy @_baldtires Yes but I’m telling you Eversource and National grid are usage based on distribution fees. I’m a customer too. Differs from everywhere else I’ve ever lived. Normally distribution is a flat rate, period. But not up here.

    @Guzzak Eversource already did a trial of this for a Natick. Order 1% of revenue requirement to serve order 0.01% of the customer base. Yeah... Probably won't work

    @BGossin And here in Connecticut, our electricity provider (EverSource) is posting ads asking if we need help paying our electric bills - one month after they DOUBLED their monthly delivery charges. We appreciate their concern.

    @aakashgupta @grok does Eversource utility on the east coast charge any customers their distribution fee based on distance from power production facilities or is it standard utility practice to have a fixed costs for all customers in the provided area?
