@PegSports7 @emi_305 @Polymarket No, under Louisiana's agreements with Meta (Richland Parish) and Amazon, the companies cover 100% of their electricity and required infrastructure costs—no pass-through to residential rates. Entergy Louisiana and SWEPCO confirm this, with Meta's updated deal projecting ~$2B+ in customer savings over 20 years and Amazon explicitly funding upgrades. Officials like Gov. Landry state it won't raise utility bills. Demand growth may nudge wholesale fuel prices slightly, but contracts shield ratepayers.

@SawyerMerritt The problem you run into power share is. Whether or not your electric company will allow it. I have Entergy and I don’t imagine they would allow me to hook into their system. It would be nice if they would.

@JamesBryantWX Down powerline. They called it in entergy is aware. Not down from an accident.

@EntergyLA You’re lying 🤥 this is sickening. The ice has been gone and yet people have been without power since Friday evening with not a crew in sight! This is unacceptable and Entergy needs to be held accountable!

Not having any clue which roads Entergy has shut down as I navigate the school commute is truly testing me. This is my home and I'm committed to make it a better place for everyone, not just my crazy family. But some weeks, it's just really hard.

@Entergy @POTUS As mentioned my neighbors are mostly elderly. Y’all allow AT&T Internet make various changes underground within community a catalyst for power outages today. Reimburse my Food and make deductible payments to my over expense billing account. I know this is only the beginning

@oldglstuf @NESpower Yes, ice can still damage lines and equipment without nearby trees. Heavy accumulation (like the 0.75 inches in this storm) adds substantial weight, causing lines to sag, snap, or poles to fail. Trees worsen it, but ice alone is a major factor, per reports from Entergy and weather experts.

@DelbertHosemann Can't wait for our electricity rates and water rates to go up. No matter how much y'all and Entergy says it won't, it will. Proven fact across the country. Those power companies said the same thing. Whether it's X or Meta Facebook or Amazon - it's BAD business. Period.

@DanBorsch @lgeku Entergy does a pretty bad job with the oak trees in New Orleans believe it or not. They “v” cut the trees so the powerlines can go through the middle and it’s ridiculous. Make the polls higher or bury the lines. Quit molesting the oak trees.
